Some weeks have gone by since the unmasking incident and it has died down for the public. The PRT is still searching for more information on me through the internet.
I finally got around to using my other ability Inspired Inventor .
This was what I saw when reading the description of the ability.
You are the world's first Tinker 12. Each day you have five charges which can be spent to improve your tinker abilities within a specific area or theme. A single charge would make you a good tinker within an area, roughly Tinker 4 - 5. Each additional charge after this doubles your abilities (around a two point bump in rating), with no limits to how many times you can spend a charge on a certain area. As a tinker you have superhuman scientific knowledge, understanding, and skill at applying it, able to make or do things that modern science would consider impossible within your theme. Spend a charge on Augmentation and start crafting cybernetics out of scrap. Spend some on medicine and cure cancer in an hour. Should your different themes overlap then they stack, building off of each other and integrating perfectly. All fields of knowledge are viable for this. Spending charges on martial arts would let you design and teach unbelievable fighting styles, and a political science tinker could design forms of government that function better than anything we have today. As long as you have time and resources, there isn't anything you couldn't do.
It basically made me a poor man's Reed Richard's. With that in mind I had two weeks or a bit more or less to improve it.
This power is ridiculously OP.
For example I have gotten 105 charges since I arrived in this world. A loop hole is that I can push a specialisation past its limits and make it into something else entirely but most have their limits on Tinker 14 and only very few go past that.
This is the list of my current specialisations. Extensively and give you an idea of what I am doing.
Mass Production- Tinker 14(10 charges) allows for mass production of tinker tech built to last and can be understood.
Software- Tinker 14(10 charges) allows for tinkering on all things related to software including A.I.
Dimension Travel- Tinker 16(11charges) allows for tinkering with anything related to dimensions and dimensional travel including alternate timelines.
Energy Production and Distribution -Tinker 14(10 charges) allows for tinkering with energy production and devices.
Wavelength-Tinker 12(9 charges) allows for tinkering with the concept of wavelengths
Combat- Tinker 20(13 charges) allows for tinkering with all things combat related including skills and techniques.
Pocket Dimensions-Tinker 20(13 charges) allows for the creation of personal pocket dimensions and all things related.
Tinker of Fiction- Tinker 20(13 charges) allows for creation of devices and machines once believed to be fictional to you and others but some of them might be stronger or weaker depending on the universe rules.
Biological Manipulation-Tinker 12(9 charges) allows for free manipulation of biology.
Free Tinker- Tinker 20 (13 charges) allows you to make anything and bring your ideas to life although specialising in them makes it easier.
Rick Sanchez Tech (TOF Bud)- Tinker 40(26 charges) increases your comprehension and gives access to the technology of Rick 317. This is the limit of this shard but not Rick Sanchez just the limit that can be simulated by this shard.
With this I am currently the strongest tinker in the world already no question. First thing I created was the legendary portal gun that allows for dimensional travel.
I also programmed it to gather locations of various alternate earths in this cluster and instead of portal fluid it runs of my cursed energy which stops it from being used by anyone else for a long period of time.
It can also teleport locally for lower costs on a solar scale even into pocket dimensions. I already found one on this earth belonging to a group of tinkers named Toybox. After searching about them I decided not to harm them because of their usefulness and their disposition.
The next thing I created was a sentient AI that was loyal to me and looked out for my interest. She's such a darling that acts like she's my daughter thus I decided to name her, Lara but her cape name is Logic.
It turns out a part of my tinker power got copied into her after the programming elevating her into true sentience. Luckily it was Free Tinker (20). She is now powerful in her own right.
I asked her to create defences in our pocket dimension against intruders since I can't be sure someone won't be able to get in like I can get into others. Let's just say they may walk in but they won't walk out.
I finally decided to begin my cape career. The Bay has become tense with the new additions to the heroes after my initial confrontation. I don't know why but the Protectorate is taking it very seriously.
First was the heroine, Mouse Protector who returned to the Bay as an affiliate to help the PRT. Two wards were sent here too, Flechette a powerful striker who based on what I believe her power to be can penetrate Infinity and strike me. Weld, a case 53 who is also powerful in his own right.
With them came villains, March a striker and thinker. I am not to sure of her abilities but her striker power gave me a terrible feeling meaning it can and will penetrate infinity and significantly harm me. She and Bakuda the bomb tinker joined ABB making them the most powerful group in the Bay.
If I want to compete I need more manpower and I know just who to get it from.
Bad Canary. The poor little songbird is currently on a kangaroo trial in Washington. Locked in a cell unable to defend herself. Most likely going to be sent to the Birdcage. Well we can't have that. Luckily she has a 'hero' in me coming to rescue her.
I put on my high tech armour what sort of resembles those from Tron by design. It completely obscures my face. Has a voice changer that scrambles my voice in intervals, immune to EMP. Gives a minor strength boost and access to the internet while allowing me have minor technopathy with it.
Yamato, Virgil's sword from DMC with the ability to cut space and create portals was released from my pocket dimension and held in my hand.
At this point I have many options to travel through space.
"Lara. I'm opening the portal keep track of everything and update me to changes while I am on the mission."
"Yes, Laplace. I still feel we should just open a portal and grab her while we are here to be safe." She replied.
This old argument brought a smile to my face as she was right but I wanted to send a statement so that my rep would have a sharp increase in one go. Taking her while beating their heroes will do wonders for my fledgling reputation.
"As I said before dear it needs to be like this. I take care of many problems with one action if I do this."
"Just be careful dad."
A dad by 22. Who would have thought.
"I would."
I fired the portal gun and stepped through the portal.
Add stones bro.
