Capítulo 5: Chapter Four
"It's Max!" Lucas said looking through his binoculars.
"Yes, I see." Dustin replied. "Why do you need those?"
Lucas rolled his eyes before putting away the binoculars. "Who's that?"
Lila stepped out of the car after Max and looked around. She spotted the boys hiding behind the cars.
"Six o'clock!" Billy shouted before speeding off.
"Bad guys." She said pointing towards them.
"No, those are my friends." Max shook her head. "Come on."
The two girls entered the arcade. Lila looked around. There were so many kids there. Lots of flashing games.
They walked up one of the machines and Max inserted a quarter. "This game is my favorite."
"Cool." Lila nodded as she watched Max.
"Hey Max." Lucas said as he and Dustin approached the girls.
"Hello Lucas." Max said staying focused on the game.
"Who's your friend?" Dustin asked leaning against one the machines. Lila squinted at him, he was a strange looking boy.
"This is Lila." Max replied looking over at him. "I found her."
"Found her?" Lucas asked. "What do you mean you found her?"
"Billy nearly hit her with his car. She was walking through the woods." Max shrugged.
Dustin and Lucas looked each other. Max found Lila how they'd found El.
"So, where are you from?" Lucas asked Lila.
"Bad place." She replied.
"Just like El." Dustin whispered.
"Who's El?" Max asked as she stuck another quarter in.
"An old party member." Lucas quickly replied. "She moved away."
"Oh." Max said.
Lila closed her eyes at focused on Lucas.
"Max is so pretty."
"I wish I could tell her the truth."
"I wonder if El is okay."
She opened her eyes before raising her eyebrows. "Truth?"
"What?" Lucas asked.
"You wish you could tell the truth." Lila stated.
"H-How did-What?!" Lucas exclaimed. "Did you read my mind?"
Lila shrugged. Max glanced over at her before looking at Lucas. "She has super powers."
"So you can read minds?" Dustin asked.
"Heal too." Lila nodded looking his arm. He had some kind of scratch on it. She grabbed his arm and placed her hand over the wound. She exhaled before removing her hand. The scrath had disappeared.
"What the hell!" Dustin said looking at his arm.
"Let me see your arm." Lucas said grabbing her wrist.

"We have to get you to Mike, like right now!"

"Mike, look at her wrist! I'm serious!" Lucas said shoving Lila's arm in his face.
Mike looked up at Lila. "Do you know Eleven?"
"E-Eleven?" Lila stuttered. She hadn't heard that name since the lab. She and Eleven were close. They stayed in the rainbow room together. Eleven escaped the lab before Lila. Lila never got to say goodbye.
"Do you know her?" Mike shouted grabbing her shoulders.
"Yes." Lila nodded. "Sister."
"Holy shit." Dustin said.
"Wait so who is Eleven?" Max asked.
"El." Lucas replied.
"Is she okay? Can you find her?" Mike asked.
"Maybe." Lila said softly. "Hard."
"Will you try?"
"Y-Yes." Lila nodded. "Eye cover."
Mike, Dustin and Lucas scrambled to find something to cover her eyes. Max stood there, astonished. She had absolutely no idea what was going on. There were more girls like Lila?
Lucas handed her the blindfold Eleven had used in the previous months as Mike turned on the staticky radio. Lila exhaled before covering her eyes.
She focused hard on picturing Eleven.
She could see the girl. She had longer hair than before. She sat infront of the television, watching something. Lila walked towards her, reaching a hand out.
Eleven had shivers run down her spine. She looked around the room. She felt a presence around her but couldn't see anyone.
"Eleven." Lila whispered.
Eleven looked at Lila in the void before gasping and disappearing. Lila took the blind fold off with tears streaming down her face.
"Beautiful." Lila strained. "Alive."
"She's alive?" Mike cried out. "She's alive!"
"Good place." Lila said, grabbing his hand. "Safe."
"I have to find her." Mike said. "Guys, now."
"Wait a minute Mike. We have no idea where she is." Dustin said.
"Lila can help us, right?" Mike asked looking over at her. "Can you?"
"I-" Lila began before Max cut her off by gasping. She was looking down at her watch.
"We are in deep shit!" Max said grabbing her backpack and skateboard. "We are an hour late. Billy's going to kill us!"
