Capítulo 14: Chapter 14 - The Noble Raito Yagami
"My name is Crusch Karsten, head of the Karsten family. State your identity and purpose for coming here." The leader, now known as Crusch, spoke in a commanding tone, directed at the two people approaching her.
She had almond-shaped amber eyes and long dark verdant-green hair that reached down to her lower back. She was dressed in armour fitting of a noble and was seated on a white dinosaur-like creature, that was also suited in armour, golden in colour.
The two people that were approaching Crusch Karsten had finally reached her, stopping a meter or two away. One young man dressed in a blazer and tie, whilst the other was a petite girl covered by the young man's jacket.
The first to speak was the young man, who stood up straight, pushed his glasses up his nose and took on the appearance of a nobleman, exuding respect and dignity.
"I am Raito Yagami, of the Yagami family. I am a foreign noble assigned with the task of killing The White Whale by my king. I ask that we work together to take down this beast, as it seems our interests align."
"Sir Yagami, is it, I believe we can work together. Is he one of your soldiers?" She inquired, whilst pointing to the man with electricity running through his hands as he, along with the other soldiers and cannons, kept the whale occupied.
"Yes, he is my assigned bodyguard. But as this mission was given to me as a way of proving my worth of being the head of the Yagami family, he is the only help I have been given. But do not worry, because my and my younger sisters' strength is, from what I've seen, on par with yourself." The young man said with no hint of modesty, truly encumbering the arrogance of a noble.
"How truly arrogant, I hope you can back up your claims, as lying in a situation like this could lead to your demise." She scoffed and she briefly gave them a look of dismissal.
"Arrogant you say, no I'm just confident." The young man said, confidence oozing out of him.
"Well that is good then, but we can't talk any longer, I must fight with my people." She turned away from the duo, and then released a commanding order.
"SOLDIERS, NOW FALL BACK!" she shouted to the people attacking the whale, preparing her sword for another long-distance attack.
Everyone, apart from one, fell back to let Lady Karsten attack. But with the person still attacking, who just so happened to be JoJo, she could not do anything. An annoyed soul appeared on her face and she turned to the young noble, Sir Yagami, and said in a tone of demand, "Control your soldier, he is interfering with our plans Call home back now!"
"There will be no need for that." The young noble said, very much assured of himself.
"What do you mean-" She tried to ask the man, confused by what he meant, but before she got the chance, he suddenly just up and left, running in a random direction.
She kept looking at him, perplexed by the weirdness of the situation, that was until the whale did something that distracted her from the other party.
The whale, annoyed by the relentless punches, released a roar and slammed their tale into the young warrior, launching him to the ground. It just so happened that the direction he was falling is the same place the young noble, and self-proclaimed master, was heading to.
"He knew?" The noble lady questioned with shock and intrigue, a lot less annoyed now.
Back to the whale, still annoyed by the persistent JoJo, directed its attention to the area it was falling in, and then charged head first in that direction.
JoJo, closing in on the ground and half-conscious, let out a resigned groan, annoyed that he would die so young, and with his loved ones in the dark. That was until, now only two meters from the ground, he stopped mid-air, as if someone had caught him and was carrying him princess-style. He was slowly lowered to the ground until he lay at the feet of the young noble, Raito Yagami.
"I told you to have patience," Raito said with an annoyed look on his face, looking down at the bleeding Englishman lying at his feet.
"Whatever, I've observed enough, it's time I had some fun as well." A smirk appeared on his face as he looked up at the approaching whale, mouth open ready to devour them.
"Suki leave this to me, from what I've seen so far I'm confident I can kill it." He put down the girl on his back, looked back up at the whale and prepared to attack.
