Capítulo 6: Chapter 6~The maths test

After my encounter with Josh, I couldn't even look at him once. I felt shy trying to do that silly mistake. The good thing is that i was having my bestie Angie was with me through all these time. She tried consoling and reminding me of the maths test. The next day was the big day,that is the maths day. Early in the morning, the math teacher arranged our seats differently for the test. I was made to sit behind Josh. Stephen was also on my right side and Angela was on my left. I felt lucky to seat near my friend Angie since I wasn't prepared for the test and she had. When the bell was rang for us to begin the test, I was a little scared. I tried asking Angie but I saw how she was really suffering so I decided not to bother her. I could see that Stephen realized how I was suffering so he decided to assist me. While he was assisting me, Sabina gave the teacher a notice. The teacher caught me red handed but Stephen saved me by denying it. The teacher believed our little story. I smiled back at Sabina who was seated next to me. After the test, I was so nervous since we where asked to wait for our results. I knew I would be among the bottom ten so I was really nervous. Stephen came and we had a little chat. He told me how he felt for me but I wasn't ready to become one of her mistress .

I told him what I had heard about him being a player boy and about his indisciplined attitudes. He explained everything to me that is why he had been doing that. He claims to had no love since his childhood . Her mother left him and his father because of poverty. That encouraged his daddy to work very hard to had gain the position as the most richest family in the city. He also added that recently, her mother came back and he apologized to him and he forgave her but his daddy did not. When I heard that he forgave his mother I was very happy for him but my mood suddenly changed when he stated that he later found out that her mother came to him so she could retrieve some amount of money from him. She didn't even loved him a bit. I was wondering of how wicked some mothers would be in abandoning their own children. I guessed I wasn't the one to judge her so I kept quiet. I saw how he was crying while telling me his story. I was also the first person to hear his story. I put him in my arms and consoled him. I noticed Josh was staring at us and he became very jealous. Instantly, our results came and I was just right behind the first position Josh. I was overwhelmed seeing my results. I wondered why Stephen who taught me was placed fifth. I was also happy to be on top of Sabina who had the third position. Immediately when I saw my position, out of happiness I kissed Stephen in front of Josh.
