'Wow, so he's a big shot,' Eldric gathered. He was suddenly even more interested in what the young man was about to say and completely forgot the tempting smell of roasted pork lying before him.

"I have a friend in a rather high place who told me the war would soon reach this area, and it would be quite severe, for they had found traces of the General in this region. Soon, the main force would come here," the man casually spat out.

Various eyes and expressions appeared, some filled with concern and fear, and some even with awe and respect. A few might be thinking of leaving this region to evade the war, while some knew it was impossible to escape the war.
