I open my eyes with difficulty. What has happened?




An old friend walks over, before I can see her clearly, a strangled cry gets stuck in my throat. I shake my head in strange convulsions as I desperately tug at my hair.




I can't even think, it's overwhelming.

I feel the touch of her on my skin, the world falls into an overwhelming silence, I look up again. I recognize this place, I've been here before, with Gabriel and… I don't remember the other boy's name.




They approach cautiously, their lights cradle me.




I lie down in the grass, tall and damp, letting her glow dazzle me as my body moves strangely again. It is painful, but not unbearable.




I sink back into that strange dream.
