"I don't want you to die. I want you to live…" Micah said. "Please, live… don't leave me."
"I am not going anywhere. I am here and alive." Hazel was not sure if saying that was enough, but Micah didn't seem to listen to her. He was engulfed by whatever bitterness that he was imagining right now.
Hazel tried to read his mind, but he didn't allow her to do that. He strongly blocked her from whatever things that he was thinking at this moment, therefore, she didn't have the slightest idea about why he thought she would leave him and die.
It took a few moments for Micah to finally gather himself and then release her body, but as soon as he did that, he turned around and walked away from her toward the bathroom.
But, out of curiosity, Hazel followed him. From his actions, it seemed he didn't want her to see his face right now.
