"Mr. Magnolia" The people who had gathered around the lobby almost gasped in unison. Nathenel was quite surprised and a little bewitched at Susan's today's appearance, so he took a moment to gather his composure before moving ahead. The complacent man that he was would have considered it as Susan's way of appealing to him, because she was aware that he had lost interest to the extent of calling off their engagement, or perhaps she did it out if gratitude that he had not called it off as yet. However, all these years Susan has never tried to please him, rather she had stayed like an invisible being. And keeping in mind her insult from this morning, he couldn't be convinced that he was the reason behind her efforts.

With mixed feelings and suspicious heart he took gallant strides towards where she was standing.
