The classes were over for the day, the sky wrapped a beautiful shade of peach, it was the best time of the year here at Harfield, the air was green and the campus was lush green. Susan was waiting outside the baking school for Eve to get done with her classes, while she was randomly sketching the scene in front of her.
"Did you have to wait for long?" Eve asked while throwing a can of soda towards her, as she descended the broad stairs.
Susan shook her head, smiling brightly at her friend, and she reflected her joy. Today they were particularly happy, it was the weekend when they are stay out of the dorm.
This would be their last month of living at the dorm.
Thankfully they were not just friends but sister-in-laws who had turned into friends, otherwise it would have been so hard to part away from her.
They have been room mates for the last three months, they had abused their powers on that they arrranged the same room for themselves, the two have been inseperable for the past three months, but fortunately they would be able to continue living in the same house even after they returned.
'May be I really should treat Nathenel, it's because he really worked hard for this.'
"Hey Eve, care for a drink?" A guy, ofhopped in suddenly, Susan knew him, he is Parik Barinton, the heir of the biggest chain of bakeries in the country. Susan was acquainted with Patrick because the Barintons were a huge benefactors at the charity events. He is also a senior from Eve's department, and leaves no efforts in flirting with her. The entire campus knew who they were, so no men ever tried to approach them but this guy was pertinent.
"Well I am sorry Patrick but I have plans."Eve declined politely.
"Hey what plans, don't be so stiff Eve, there's nothing wrong in having some fan while you are still here you know." Patrick winked and grinned shamelessly at her.
Crushing the empty soda can Susan aimed at him.
"Hey" He glared at Susan.
"Oops! I mistook you for a trash can.Would you mind giving her a break Patrick, she is married."
"Huh! You both brag about your marriages, none of your men ever turn up. They seem to be so busy that they don't even care."
"Oh really Patrick? If you think you can lure her with such words. I will give you a piece of advice for old time's sake. You are no match for her husband. If Anastasio de Faunoa found you flirting with his wife right now, I suppose you really have a death wish then. Moreover, the one you are trying to seduce will soon be the heiress of the Hatfield, the same company whose boots you are always ready to lick up."
It was true Irene had finally brought up the matter to Eve, that she wishes to bestow Harfield on her, so on her coming birthday Evelyn will become the official heiress and countess Harfield. She would learn by stay by Irene's side, and succeed eventually.
Although the title of Grand Duchess shall prevail as Sio had already declined the position of head of Magnolia.
Patrick laughed rolling his eyes, "I have grown up watching trophy wives. To whom do you think you all are bragging huh?"
Enraged Eve was about to say something, when she heard small footsteps running towards moment and in the next moment her anger subsided to joy, when she saw her cotton candy Ophelia running towards her.
"Eve." She jumped into Eve's arms, and Eve immediately planted a kiss on her cheeks overwhelmed with joy.
"I micched Eve."
"Oh! I miss you more Ophe"
Just then she sensed a tall masculine figure right behind her, and the next moment, Ophelia climbed down taking the signal and ran to aunt Susan.
Eve gasped as she was wrapped into a warm embrace wrapping her by the waist and pulling her into a short steamy kiss on her lips.
'What's with this PDA!' Eve exclaimed inside her head. 'So my devil must have seen and heard everything, now he is all jealous.'
But she realised she was growing equally crazy for him, and she did care anymore.
"Umm Sio. People are watching" Eve chuckled at how such a magnifying personage.
"Have I ever cared about people? But I get really jealous when some random randy flirts with my wife, and says that I take her for a trophy. I simply can't take it."
Eve caressed the back of his head gently, to calm him down.
"Yeah I get it Mr.Faunoa, now please calm down. Ophe is here for heaven's sake Sio."
Patrick was mortified at the sight, and turned away cursing the tyrant trader, he was definitely marking his territory with that PDA.
Susan turned and walked away with Ophe in her arms, this kid is too smart and understanding.
"So how has little Ophe been?"
"Good but Chad, Ophe micches you. You plomise to come ebley weekend."
It's only on the second weekend of a month that Eve and Susan get to come out of their dorms. Ophelia had been crying a lot while they were leaving for Harfield, in order to calm her Susan had said they would meet every weekend.
"I am so sorry baby. Did you miss us that much. Has Ophe got nobody to play?"
Ophe nodded, "Ophe is bored." She narrated that how her father is busy these days going out with Foea but at the same time she loves her aunt Foea and wants her to become her mom soon. Susan couldn't help but laugh, "And what about uncle Nathanel and Sio?"
Ophe placed her head gently on Susan's neck as if exasperated, "They only stay at home. Eat and chleep. Ophe wants to go on a picnic."
Ophe was fast asleep right away, she must have been tired from the long journey.
Susan patted her head, "Oh Ophe! I know uncle Nathenel is too boring. Has he really become that lazy now?"
"It seems your aunt needs a proof regarding how well I play. Have you been well my wife?"
Susan was stumbled a bit to find this gorgeous man who is her husband. Nathenel approached her slowly, and tucked her hair behind her earlobe while inhaling her scent, his lips curled up slightly, "I am so eager to play right now."
Susan shuddered momentarily, and the invisible butterflies in her stomach started dancing. Would this effect ever dissipate, she was already burning under his gaze.
"I have missed you Suzy, let's go home."
Early this morning the girls had received call from Ophelia, who cried and said that she wanted to go on a picnic. This weekend they had a family lunch with their grandparents. Ophe is a good child, she wouldn't complain but even she deserves to go on a picnic. So they were all set for a picnic at the farm house where their grandparents have been staying at the countryside.
It wasn't completely a lie, but it was a plan hatched by the two notorious men to bring back their wives, and Ophelia gladly became their accomplice, because she missed her aunts too.
