Capítulo 10: Take off

We are gonna start our trip to Texas today, so I packed a lot of things that I thought I would need. It's gonna be a 2 hour trip to Texas by plane. All the people who were joining the trip were supposed to be at one place. I arrived at the ground, hoping that Joanna would be there but I couldn't find her at all. Gradually, the people started coming but I was hopeless. I thought I would be all alone on my journey when suddenly Joanna came and sat with me out of nowhere. A joyful feeling lit me up and I felt so relieved. It was 10:30 in the morning and we were all ready to head to the airport. When we reached at the airport it was crowded but we managed to reach to the last gate within 4 hours and it was really tiring, until we realised the flight was delayed and we had to wait for another hour. Me and Joanna passed our time, by drinking coffee and we talked about the pros and cons of our journey. Finally, it was time to get into the flight. We got a pretty comfortable seat and we were so thankful. There were a few turbulences but we could handle it. The cabin crew was really sweet and we got really fancy food. We finally landed in Texas, the weather was lovely and It was very calming. We were anxious to enter our hotel room, room 13. But Joanna didn't seem as nervous as I was.
