She thought of another situation for him to stay locked in this massive house. She was really curious to know but she felt a little uneasy to ask out loud. So, the best way to know the answer is to wait patiently and look for what he's up to.

There was a possibility that he was in danger like he made trouble with someone whom he shouldn't and that could be one of the reasons for someone to shift places from a popular place to somewhere remote like where she is staying now. 

The deeper she thought about it, she felt like it could be relatable as he was working from home instead of going out to the hospital as he was a doctor. She was getting confused about what he was doing

Though that was her assumption of him offending some great people, she wished that it was not the truth. Because she did not want to get involved in that kind of situation as she felt like wanting to live. She did not want to die young at least not until she saw her baby.
