Chapter One
"In the charming town of Portland, Oregon, where the scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, a young man named Jake 'The Bull' Moriarty managed the popular coffee shop, 'The Daily Grind,' by day. Unbeknownst to the locals, Jake's quiet confidence and charisma concealed a secret life as the ruthless and feared mafia boss, 'The Shadow,' ruling the night with an iron fist."
As Jake expertly crafted latte art at The Daily Grind, his mind wandered to the night's agenda. Little did the coffee shop regulars know, their beloved barista was about to transform into the feared Shadow, settling scores and making deals in the dark underbelly of Portland.
Just then, the doorbell above the coffee shop entrance jingled, signaling the arrival of a new customer. Jake's eyes locked onto a shy, introverted young man, James, who hesitated at the threshold.
"As James turned to leave the coffee shop, the lights suddenly flickered and died. The air was plunged into darkness, and the only sound was the creaking of old wooden beams. James's heart raced as he wondered if it was a power outage... or something more sinister. And then, he saw it: a figure lurking just beyond the coffee shop's windows, watching him with an unblinking gaze."
