The missionaries were in John's badlist, but because Phoenix stopped him John let them go. He decided to punish them if he got solid evidence about them doing something about the disappearance of his mother Veronica's dead body.
John's anger simmered beneath the surface as he watched the missionaries depart under Phoenix's watchful gaze. He knew they were on his "bad list" now, but he also understood the importance of restraint and evidence.
"I won't forget this,"
John muttered, his voice tinged with determination.
"If I find solid evidence of their involvement in my mother's disappearance, they'll face the consequences."
Phoenix nodded in understanding, his expression serious yet reassuring.
"We'll gather the evidence we need, John,"
he assured him.
"But let's approach this methodically and with caution."
Scarmerine, standing nearby, placed a steadying hand on John's shoulder.
