"Good job Hagakure" I congratulated my partner while raising my hand in her direction, she high-fived happily.
"Yay! Villains! " she laughed happily "I'm glad I helped." she added afterwards, I chuckled
"You did it, good job." Jinx and Penny had been so focused on me that they hadn't heard or seen when Hagakure had stolen Jinx's grenades before leaving them underneath both of them.
Simple but very effective tactic, she had to be given credit not only for her quick thinking but because she hadn't just stood there waiting by the side of the gun, but had come into the middle of the fight and waited for the perfect moment.
I walked over to Jinx and Penny who were standing awkwardly before dusting themselves off.
"finished by one of my bombs, you've got to be kidding me," Jinx spat reluctantly and I snorted in amusement.
"It was fun." I told her mockingly, she snorted as she looked at me.
"You're a fucking tree, I couldn't really sense you at any point, it's annoying." Jinx growled as she gathered her weapons, I shrugged.
"You asked for it," I said simply.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever." she said annoyed, I rolled my eyes in amusement.
"No hard feelings?" I asked with a smile, she looked at me before rolling her eyes and smirking.
"You'll have to do worse than beat me up if you want to annoy me." She said honestly with a shrug, once the four of us were ready we headed to the control room where All Might congratulated us all before continuing with the talk about the MVP, I really ignored him, I was more focused on the next fight.
The last fight was between Taylor and Shino as villains vs Ruby and Torodoki as heroines, barely began the 5 minutes of preparation, Taylor called her swarm and covered all the cameras, several of those present shuddered
The cameras were covered for a few seconds before we were able to once again observe what was happening inside the building.
"That's a lot of bugs." I didn't see who said it, but they weren't really lying, Taylor had covered every surface with her bugs and both she and Shino and the bomb had disappeared from the place-no, the bomb was still in a corner, covered in bugs, but camouflaging itself with all the others to look like it wasn't in the room.
Before long All Might gave the signal for the heroes to enter, Todoroki did exactly what she expected, she froze the entire building, Taylor barely moved from where she was, she simply flexed her legs to remove the frozen part that was stuck to the ground and brought even more insects than before.
The heroes entered through the door when they were accosted by the insects.
" sUrrENDEr heroES, Or sUFFER thE CONSeQUENcES!!" everyone visibly shuddered, really, hearing thousands of insects chirping to form words was disconcerting and terribly horrible, there was something unnatural about the sound that gave you chills.
"never a villain!" Ruby was one of the few who didn't flinch, she had already grown accustomed to what Taylor could do "today you went too far!! I have come to rescue Prince Izumi from your evil insect claws! " what?
I froze at Ruby's words, she only said... that?
On top of that, she seemed terribly excited as she pointed at the mass of insects as if she was waiting for something, instead, the insects had also gone rigid for a few seconds before starting to move.
" yoU'Ll neVer bE AbLe To resCue IzUmI, he's MiNE!!! fOOlIsh HERoiNE, gO awAy!! " oh goddess, they were getting into some stupid role-playing game, I slammed my palm against my face, I heard Azula snort amusedly next to me, Ruby smiled widely completely happy that Taylor was playing along, before changing her expression to a more serious one.
"I won't let you do whatever you want! I will rescue Prince Izumi and stop you, get ready! "

SHoOT " Ruby looked momentarily confused as her eyes widened when they heard a loud noise before turning into a storm of roses and pushing a very confused Todoroki who wasn't understanding what was happening, a fraction of a second later a bullet flew by destroying everything in its path where Todoroki had been.
"Sniper! And it can shoot from behind walls, don't just stand there! " Ruby said quickly as she stood up and quickly turned around while raising Crescent Rose, just in time to intercept Shusui, Taylor had emerged from her swarm completely camouflaged with her bugs.
"Hello little Heroine." Taylor said mockingly before breaking away from the massive glacier that formed where she was standing, Taylor slowly turned her head towards Todoroki who was frowning, the noise of Asada's Hecate II rang out again and hit Todoroki in the back throwing her across the hallway as she let out a groan of pain, her aura had taken the full impact so she would be fine but it was still a damn anti-material sniper rifle hitting her all over the body.
"Partner!" Ruby exclaimed in panic as she tried to help Todoroki before Taylor intercepted her .
"I don't think so." Taylor spun around and kicked Ruby who blocked it with Crescent Rose but Taylor's kick pushed her through a wall separating her from Todoroki before following her through the hole.
Another shot rang out, this time Todoroki reacted in time and created a huge icicle around her as she spun on the ground, the massive ice was pierced through as if it didn't exist in the first place and the bullet continued on its path without any problems.
"Where the hell is she shooting from and how does she see through walls!?" asked one of the girls next to me.
All Might also looked confused before manipulating the cameras.
"There!" I pointed at one of the cameras, it showed the inside of one of the nearby buildings, Asada was comfortably lying on the roof of a medium-sized building with Hecate in her arms as she pointed at the frozen building full of insects.
"That's... how the hell does she aim her sights with such precision?"
"The bugs" I said quickly, I felt more than one look at me including All Might "Taylor has terrible spatial awareness, she can sense every bug and knows where each of them is so she has almost partial omniscience within her area as long as she can tag everything with her bugs, she can also shoot perfectly by making a line of bugs from the tip of a gun to the target, he's helping Asada with the same method, it's hard to see but there are bugs forming a line from Asada to Todoroki, she doesn't need to see it, she just needs to aim at the bug outside the building, as long as the bullet follows its path, it will hit Todoroki"
"Wait, so Hebert is doing all the work?"
"She can partly tell you where to aim without seeing her target, but Asada is aiming at a damn bug almost 3 blocks away, she's also awfully good."
We looked at the screens again, Taylor was using Water Breathing to keep Ruby on the defensive, really, closed spaces did not favor Ruby, Crescent Rose was over 1.80 m tall, so she could not wield it comfortably with the walls so close to her.
Taylor also had more strength and faster attack speed than Ruby, the difference between having full concentration breathing was visible so Ruby had no choice but to defend herself using her quirk to dodge and get away from Taylor.
Elsewhere, Todoroki wasn't achieving anything at all, the shots kept coming with extreme precision, and since Asada was in another building, she couldn't counterattack in any way, so she only had the option of dodging. A couple of times she tried to go after the bomb, but it gave a predictable movement to Taylor's and Asada's insects so it was easier to aim, as Todoroki discovered when she received another shot in the back, eating a large amount of her aura to defend herself.
Her ice was completely useless, no matter how thick or tough she made it, Asada's Hecate's bullets pierced through them with extreme ease.
The stalemate continued for a few minutes until Ruby's aura dangerously reached red levels, and… I finally breathed, my smile growing huge, finally.
First Form: Thunderclap and Flash , the camera barely captured Ruby's movement, one moment she was still and the next she was behind Taylor with her scythe backwards with Crescent Rose's blade on Taylor's neck, which was taken by surprise and it seems that she didn't get to put up a defense so Ruby's scythe hit Taylor in the neck, if it weren't for her aura Taylor would definitely have been decapitated, she was simply pushed back against a wall, although she got up immediately.
They both stood still, Ruby looking incredulous.
"I did it!!!" Ruby squealed happily, forgetting about the fight as she lifted Crescent Rose over her head.
"Congratulations Ruby… now, it's time to get serious." Taylor put Shusui down and got ready.
"TIMEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! THE VILLAINS WIN!!!!!!!! " oh, she hadn't been checking the time, neither had Taylor and Ruby as they were taken by surprise, Asada stopped her finger on her trigger before getting up and starting to put away Hecate, really, Asada hadn't suffered any damage, she only had a little aura consumed by the recoil of her weapon, but she had still taken away almost 70% of Todoroki's aura without her being able to do anything, who was staring into the air as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard.
"IZUMIIII!!!!" I prepared to receive a red rocket "did you see me?! Did you see me?! I finally did it!! Master total concentration breathing!! I finally managed to pull off a Thunderclap and Flash!! " Ruby said quickly completely excited, I smiled at her and ruffled her hair making her laugh
"I saw it, congratulations Ruby, I knew you could, now you can start the other ways, Ruby" I congratulated her, Ruby giggled, now only Azula was missing, I couldn't wait to see what they achieved, but I had more important things to do, I grabbed Ruby, separated her from my body and smiled at her "I would give you a reward Ruby, but unfortunately you didn't save me." I said sufferingly, before falling against Taylor's body who quickly grabbed me "you left me in the hands of a cruel villain."
Ruby stopped stiffly as did Taylor, Ruby was the first to move.
"No! Prince Izumi! I failed you! " Ruby theatrically fell to her knees in defeat, Taylor was the next to move, her arms wrapped around me possessively.
"Silly heroine, Izumi is mine" Taylor growled and snorted playfully.
"EHEM!" The three of us stopped stiffly, shit, I had forgotten that we were still in front of the class, the three of us looked sheepishly at All Might, although he didn't seem angry or upset, in fact, he had a huge smile on his face, still, we quickly apologized and turned our attention back to him, well, mostly, I approached Taylor.
"By the way Cuddlebug." I muttered into Taylor's ear, she looked at me questioningly "I was right." I said mockingly while looking at my neck, it took Taylor a few seconds to understand before letting out a moan of suffering, ah, music to my ears.
