The Next Morning, Rail was preparing breakfast for himself and baking a cake because he was up all night overthinking about what had happened that night and baking helps him clear his head. As Rail was decorating the cake he heard a knock on the door. He set down the frosting, cleaned himself up a little, and as he approached the door he asked who it was….and there it was; the same rose voice he had heard the night before.
Rail stood at the door holding the handle in shock. He started to panic because he wasn't dressed properly and his hair was all ruffled and messed up. He quickly tried to make his hair look decent enough before opening the door. As Rail opened the door, there he was standing on the other side of the door, the man with the intoxicating voice, diamond eyes, rose petal lips and porcelain skin. They made eye contact once again just as they did the night before, Rail felt his face turn red when Kaito smiled at him. Kaito had such a beautiful smile, no sunset nor sun rise could even begin to compare to his smile.
Rail invited Kaito into his house, offered him a seat, and asked if he was hungry. Kaito said he was hungry and thanked Rail for the food. Once Kaito finished eating he asked Rail what his name was. Rail was somewhat annoyed because his name seemed to amuse Kaito, but Kaito's laugh put a smile on his face. After a while Kaito brought up what Rail had said the night before and laughed as Rail turned red from embarrassment.
They spent hours talking and laughing, neither of them wanted the moment to end but the sun began to set and Kaito had to go. As they said their goodbyes, Rail gathered up all his courage and asked Kaito out on a date. As a response, Kaito turned around, kissed Rail's cheek and told him he was free that saturday.
As the door closed, Rail melted onto the floor cupping the cheek that had been kissed by the rose petal lips, processing what had just happened but all the same beaming with joy.
