Had a system that does dumb missions and author uses it to force plot like still being pushed out window and having use his fathers wand. Boring and just dumb af
Don't write situations where comedy will always be overshadowed by the realism a moment calls for. Kicked out a window? Anger. Resentment. Relationship changed. Railroaded into the wrong wand? Unwillingness and focus on trying to solve their problem. These are things to be expected. Humor doesn't solve these problems.
