Capítulo 8: Chapter 8: Plant Hunting
Looking at the Large Golden Glowing Fern, Specter Touched a leaf and felt the Rich Mana coming from it.
Hmm, its Rich of Mana but deep inside has Poison inside. Let me see, If Made into Tea the one drinking it will not notice the Poison as it will be masked by the rich Mana and Mana this Pure will change to the one drinking it unless they can taste the poison itself nobody would know. (Specter)
Its a delicious Deadly Drink. (Specter)
Then Specter looked at the Logs and back at the Fern A Smile appeared on his face one with a Crazy mad Idea.
Pulling a Few leaves off, Specter Careful did so not to damage the Stem and then he Created Glass making Tea Cups and a Tea kettle, Putting Water inside after it was created, Specter then added the Fern and started boiling it over the Fireplace.
Waiting, Specter moved the Fern over to the side making a Indoor Garden area, Planting the Fern and Watered the ground, when he was Done the Kettle whistled.
Going over, Specter poured it in the Tea Cup and Walked over to the Logs, Placing it down before the Little Serpent.
The Serpent slithered out and started Drinking the Tea.
Its not even waiting? (Specter)
Must be using Mana to keep its tongue from burning from the heat but Rich Mana will entice all Beasts. (Specter)
The Cup was Emptied, Filled and Emptied over and over until the last Of the Tea was Gone.
The Serpent slithered back and fell asleep. Specter placed the Kettle and Cup next to the Plant as to know what he used to not mix them even after cleaning the chance of Poisoning the next drink is high.
Now time to find more plants and do some experiments. (Specter)
Even if its night, Specter is not sleepy and left to find more plants, floating over the water, Specter followed the river, he is looking for Plants that grow near Water, but its Rare to find one the Chance of him finding the Golden fern was by luck.
There has to be a different way... I know! (Specter)
Kraa! (Beast)
A Flame hit a Beast then a Stone Sphere blasting it far back and hit the tree hard Blood Blasted out of the Beast and it died by the impact, the Beast was so fast and died as quickly that it was only a Shadow and a bloody unrecognizable mess in the end.
Specter did not even turn to look at it as he started his plan in creating a Spell, using his Mana to scan the surroundings but changing it to find Mana instead of detecting movement.
It was Easy, But also bad by doing it, everything has Mana, and so when the spell activated, everything lit up like Christmas Lights, trees glowing with Mana, grass, leaves, small plants, Everything, And Beast became easier to see as they are glowing brighter then the trees with the increased Mana in there bodies.
I need to just walk around and find the plants that glow with Mana the most. (Specter)
And So, Specter started his search by floating over the river, evading attacks from large fish and other beasts, Specter walked into the Forest looking for any Plants as he found none by the water he gave up on searching the water as he was walking through the forest he Found a Large Amount of Mana below him.
Using earth and wind magic, Specter made Stone Steps down as he walked into the ground, the further he went the Hotter it became, sweat started dripping from his face as he got closer and closer. He did not know but he had been walking down for miles and the Mana became brighter almost like looking the Sun as he got closer.
Having to use an Ice Ward, the cool Ice Ward helped counter the heat, the Wall Broke open and seeing Large Pool of Lava before him the Heat smacked against the Ward and Cracked it right after the wall collapsed open.
Having to repair it, Specter walked in with a New Ice Ward. The heat passed through the Ward still but if it was not the full force of the heat.
A Red and Black Serpent round as a Metal Barrel, It has to be at least 20 or more Meters long, Specter ignoring it as it does not even know he is present and walked in the large Cave Area keeping the Serpent in view.
The Lava is full of Mana and has blocked his Sight unable to tell if there is any Plants growing here and even the Serpent is Invisible from his sight unless it Physical came into view out of the Lava.
Hours of walking, The Ice Ward had to be replaced Hundreds of times as the heat Increased the deeper he went, and even had to stack multiple of them around him, Finding a Place hotter then any of the other part he been too, Specter walked over. Islands of Black Liquid Stone in a Large Pool of Lava, Specter seen in the center a Plant, large fiery Red leaves that is palm length and wide. The Stem looks to be made of Flames itself and a Red flaming Aura Surrounded the Plant its a Foot and half tall, Its On a black rock stone island.
Floating up, Specter walked over the Lava and moved most of the Ice Wards below him, as he is getting closer and closer, The Lava Started To Stir and Move about on his far Left.
Specter stopped and watched his Surroundings Turning to his Right the Red and Black Serpent Jumped out of the lava and slammed onto the Lava Surface, Seeing a Huge Wave of Lava Moving to him, Specter Waved his Staff downwards and the Earth Cave ceiling Shot downwards Making a Triangle shape Pillar the point facing the Lava, the Lava Smashed onto the triangle pillar and split in half.
Specter quickly looked to his left and seen the Lava Wave Passed over the Plant he was going to get.
Looking back to the Earth Pillar, it shattered as The Serpent charged through it using it as Cover to get closet to him, Specter side Stepped and Swinging his Staff from Right to left, He smashed it against the Serpent face a Shockwave blasted from the Staff using Wind Magic had pushed the Serpent away from him falling back into the lava.
With a spin of the Staff, Earth Spheres Hundreds of them was Made out of the Molten Lava and cooled down using Water magic making Steam fill the Surface of the Lava. Specter brought the Earth Spheres high up and waited, The Serpent Came from under him, the Levitating Spell pushed him up with the Lava and the Serpent face came into view, Specter smashed the bottom of his staff onto the Nose of the Serpent and that triggered the Earth Spheres, they all flew and Hit the Serpent with Speed Increased by Wind Magic making the Force stronger, the Black Armored Parts cracked and the Liquid Lava leacked out into the lava pool below.
The Force pushed the Serpent away from under Specter who slowly Floating back down, Ice Spikes was created but started Melting as they where being created, using it to his Advantage, Specter sent the Spikes at the Serpent that is going back into the lava the heat shaved layers off the Ice Spikes but Ice was continuesly created inside making the Tip of the Spike Pointer but weaker, having piercing effect over power the Ice Spikes Broke through the Cracked Black Armor coating and melted leaving Gapping Holes that leacked Lava.
The Serpent Jumped and Had its mouth open black liquid Vangs out looking like a Pool of lava as it arced through the air aiming to bite Specter.
Specter did not move and staring at the Serpent arriving a Shockwave appeared before Specter and moved passed the Serpent the Lava below rippled in the process Specter did not move but the Serpent that had its mouth open had been torn apart from the inside out by the pressure alone. The Serpent fell onto the Lava Surface and Floated there Dead.
Waving his staff upwards the dead Serpent floated up, a Glowing Core inside was Present through a Hole in its body. Using his Wind He ripped it out from the Serpent and looked at it closely, the Catalyst is red hot lave Sphere smooth like glass looks like Lava with Black Molten Rock moving about the surface.
Turning around to leave, Specter seen the plant he thought was destroyed in the same place Floating around like nothing happened.

Flying over, Specter Created a Fire Ward over the Plant and the Lava Below it Making it float up with the Lava still inside.
The Mana keeps the lava from Cooling unless interfered with It will stay in Liquid state. (Specter)
But the Heat might also play a part better make a Place for it and quickly I dont know if the Plant will die if not. (Specter)
Floating out of the under ground Lava pool, Specter walked back up the way he came down, the Cool breeze felt amazing and Refreshing.
Floating over the Water he backtrack the way he came, the Lava plant made the Plants near Wither from extreme heat, and The water to Steam from the heat as it passed over, Specter flew up the Waterfall and into his house. Having to concentrate on the Ward and Use his Rune Carving tools at the same time he did not notice the little Serpent watching from the logs, He started Placing a Magic Circle down in the Garden, the Circle made an environment like Space inside that will be the same as it was at the Lava Pit, Placing a Ward over it to protect it and placing the Plant down the Lava filled the hole under neath and the Lava Plant Stood tall, the Cave was Hot after it was all settled and set up.
Placing the Catalyst Before the Flaming Plant and put a Rune Ward over it to keep the heat inside.
So Tired! Using all that Mana I need to rest. (Specter)
Sluggish movements, Specter made it to his Bed and fell onto it and fell asleep right away.
As he slept, the Serpent moved to the Catalyst and never Removed its eyes off it as it look through the Ward.

Morning arrived, 9 In the morning, Specter woke up, his Mana Returned and larger then before and having Even better control over his Mana then last time.
Seeing the Serpent looking at the Catalyst, Specter walked over, Picked the Little Serpent up and moved it away.
Not now, You will become Cooked Serpent attempting to eat it. (Specter)
Checking on the Fiery Plant, Its Stable and no Problems, Checking on the Golden Fern, its Rune Ward is also Stable.
Using the Meat he Made Breakfast and gave a Bit to the Little Serpent, Magic Beasts can eat and drink anything and Mana even makes Beasts stronger once done eating, he made Tea With the Fern again, giving it to the Serpent. He put Mana in Water then Specter started to Watered the Golden Fern, Then Left the Cave House.
Walking around outside he started checking on the Surroundings this way if he is attacked he can use the surrounding areas to his advantage, Specter who is floating through the forest detected a disturbance in the Mana it Feels like a fight is happening. Floating over he made no Sound as he does so when he arrived seeing a Student fighting a beast none was the wiser, Specter watched seeing how it will play out.
The female student with Green Hair, Green Sharp Eyes, Elven Ears, Green Robe, A Wooden Wand that looks like Vines intertwined holding a Green Beast Catalyst.
The Beast she is fighting is a Large Wolf of Five and Half Feet tall Gray Fur Black Eyes. It jumped and evaded the Elf Mage Wind attacks even if its not visible, The Sound she produced by the spells is heard.
The Elf has a Ward up and when the Wolf Evaded her Wind Spell and attacked her Ward it Cracked badly, One more hit will shatter the Ward.
The Wolf backed up and a Wind Blade hit the Tree Behind the Wolf, it Used the Momentum from the Jump to Advance closer, hitting the Ward again the Ward Shattered like Glass now she is defenceless, the Wolf jumped forward as soon as it landed taking the unguarded Elf by suprise who is trying to make another Ward.
Specter sent a Wind Spell and Sliced the head of the Wolf off, decapitated the Wolf it was not able to hear it arriving because he has mastery over his spells he also attacked with timing the speed and the distance the Wolf as it ran into the Wind blade killed itself practically, Blood sprayed from it's headless body on the Poor Elf and the Wolf body passed over the now crouched Elf with her arms blocking her sight in a Defensive position to sacrifice her arms for survival.
She looked up as soon as the Blood touched her and seen a Black Cloaked Robe man leaving the area.
Leaving the Elf behind, Specter continued looking at the surroundings around him.
If they cant even tell they are weak and head this deep into the Forest, its there fault if they die. But helping the ones I see will give them a Chance to realize they should move to the outer ring. (Specter)
Specter has not even noticed it himself, but as an Angel he would help anyone he seems to be in need of his help he will help as that is what Angels do but sense he had his Mana Corrupted By Demonic Mana He has changed to not helping people Completely but also not passing them up for death either.
