Shen Xiu continued to teach in front of the class. Because what she taught was not very useful to Ban, Then he heard Ziyun say something, "Hey Ning'er do you think the places nie li mentioned are really true. Are there really humans out there in different places."
"Maybe or maybe not. It's not like Nie li would have visited all those places, either he read them from some books or just made them up." Ning'er replied simply, then she looked towards ban.
"Is he really saying the truth Ban about the places?" she asked.
Before he could answer Ziyun said, "Hey why are you asking ban, it's not like he would know if Nie li was saying the truth or not."
"Well I do know since I'm not from glory city...by the way don't tell anyone about this ok Miss Ye.
And the places he told about are there....I have visited few of them.... Oh by that i remembered i bought you souvenirs Ning'er, I'll give you after the classes."
"Really you have gone to those places...can tell me more about them." Ziyun who got all curious when she heard ban said.
'Hehe hook is placed now i need to wait...' ban thought.
"ofcourse" then they both talked more and for some reason Shen xiu didn't scold them or call out.
Ning'er was only listening to their conversation as she was lost in thinking about the gift ban bought for her.
Privately, Nie Li, Lu Piao and Du Ze were conversing.
"Nie Li, do you like Ye Ziyun?" Lu Piao asked looking at Nie Li.
"Yes!" Nie Li said truthfully.
Lu Piao stared into Nie Li's eyes, after a while, he sighed, "Ye Ziyun's a beauty indeed. And seeing that you're my brother, I shall not fight with you. But as a brother, I have to warn you, Ye Ziyun's identity is too noble. She isn't someone we can match. And by the looks of it...she is more interested in that new handsome hunk guy." he said pointing his chin towards were Ziyun, Ning'er and ban was sitting and talking to each other.
Ofcourse nie li have already noticed that but tried to ignore it.
"Nevermind She is just curious about him, 'She has always been curious. Why is she so curious' " nie li replied.
Lu piao then didn't say anything and changed the topic.
Soon the class ended and Shen Xiu left.
Holy Orchid Institute Training Grounds
The training grounds were established by the Legend rank Demon Spiritualist Lord Ye Mo and the principal of the school, who was a Black Gold rank Demon Spiritualist. The training grounds were surrounded by towering walls. Every year, experts in Glory City would capture some low-level demon beasts and place them into the training grounds. Any Holy Orchid Institute student who is below Silver rank can enter the grounds. Students can hunt the demon beasts inside and obtain fur, demon crystals, and various other beast materials from them and dispose of them freely at their own choice. Some of the poorer students can hunt inside the training ground to help with their family's financial situation.
Nie Li's group of three haven't even reached 1-star Bronze rank, yet. So the place that they are going to is the training grounds safest area. There are only Horned Sheeps in that area. Although Horned Sheeps are very aggressive in nature, they are still herbivores. Therefore, their attacks would only cause serious injuries. So they can be considered safe.
Nie Li's group of three entered the training grounds after they had their identities verified by the guards at the entrance.
Meanwhile in deepest part of training ground.
"So what did you wanted to show me and was so eager about." Ban Asked looking towards Ning'er.
"Yea you also told me to come along." Ziyun said.
"Well for you Ziyun i trust you and didn't wanted to hide it anymore so I'll show you my true power. I hope you keep it a secret between us." Ning'er said.
Ziyun who heard her best friends (in her opinion) words was shocked and just nodded at her.
"Ohh I am eager to see what kind of Zanpakuto you got." Ban smiled and said.
Ning'er smiled at Ban's words and took out the katana she would always carry with her.
Ziyun who was looking at her was confused. 'What is she doing?, I once asked why she carried a katana all the time but she didn't answer saying it's just for protection.'
"Alright I would like to advice you step back from here Ziyun and I hope you would shield her ban from the soul force." Ning'er said to which ban nodded and said, 'Hehe can't miss this opportunity.'
"Miss Ye, let's step back a little. And could you stand in front of me." he said as he walked back from Ning'er, as Ziyun followed behind.
"You don't need to call me Miss Ye. You can just call me Ziyun, Ning'er friend is my friend too.." she said as ban and she now stopped.
"Alright ready..." Ning'er said and then she closed her eyes.
"Surge, Nova Storm!" Ning'er said and suddenly her soul force started to rise abruptly.
Ziyun who felt the sudden pressure stumbled back, 'Yes this is the moment' ban thought and caught her by placing his hands on her waist, "Are you ok?" he asked but Ziyun wasn't able to answer him as she was flabbergasted by what was happening in front of her. Ban taking this chance pulled her close to him and now she was so close that her butt was directly touching his pelvic region.
'Ahh...she smells so nice.' ban thought.
Ziyun ofcourse didn't notice what ban did, 'Whats happening? How is Ning'er soul power giving so much pressure? and her Katana it's changing, its exuding so much pressure.' she thought as she kept her eyes on her katana which was shining and soon a new blade appeared.
Ban was also watching the changes, ' hmm? how strong is her shikai.'
Soon what came into view was a sword with two blades that rise straight up. Actually, they are not blades. They are simply electric rods, and electricity mixed with spirit/soul energy gathered around them, causing them to cut better than any sword. The hilt was wrapped in red cloth and it has no guard. It is all one piece of metal.
Ning'er slowly opened her eyes, If you looked closely you could see lightning sparks in her eyes.
Soon she controlled the pressure and said, "This is my Zanpakuto Nova Storm." she looked towards the two people standing im front of her. She was smiling thinking of how they will react.
She was satisfied with the look on Ziyun but on other hand Ban only smiled and said, "Nice name....Nova storm hmm sounds domineering." he said.
Finally Ziyun was able to come out of her shocked state when she heard Ban speak and quickly ran towards Ning'er, "What's going on Ning'er? Why did you soul power rise so much just now and....and how did the katana is now this....is it some kind of rare equal..." she asked quickly after getting close to her.
Ning'er sighed and looked towards Ban, who just nodded and started walking towards them.
The Ning'er said, "Alright I'll tell you everything buy you have to promise me you won't share this anyone not even your father or grandfather."
"Okay I promise I won't tell about this to anybody." she promised as she took a gulp down her throat of her saliva.
Then Ning'er started to explain how she met Ban and about the things he told him....while keeping few things not telling her.
Ziyun who wasn't able to process so much information took her time...
"So what are it's abilities, if you don't mind telling that is." Ban asked.
"Ofcourse not you are the one who gave me this power in the first place." Ning'er replied hurriedly.
"No no.... it's your own power i just gave you a way ti wield one...it was gained by your hard work and determination." ban said shaking her head.
Ning'er felt really happy when he said that, "Thank you Ban."
"Its General Ability is Control over light and electricity. And when I say 'Light' I mean actual soul energy.
Then it's first ability is called Thunder Flash.
An ability that allows the me to convert myself into light energy, allowing me to travel at unimaginable speeds. However, I cannot attack in this state.
'Man...she got kamui what the hell man it's so OP.' ban who heard was screaming inside his head at how op her first skill is.
The comes the second ability which is called Luminetric Desplotion. An attack that reverses all laws of physics that I have known so far and the things I read in the books you gave me. In this I can gather Light in a tight space and then compress it to such a small area that it reverses itself, creating antimatter and detonating, creating a massive explosion. Although I haven't tested how large of an explosion it can make.
'Wtf is going on her second Shikai ability is also so powerful.....her zanpakuto is fucking powerful.' ban thought.
And the last ability is called Lectric Thread. An attack where I can spread out lines of particles througout the battlfield, and then light them up and convert them into streams of energy that can tangle and sing an opponent to cinders. "
She explained her abilities to Ban who was now making a wry face and said, "Man your Zanpakuto is seriously Over powered. I really feel jealous now."
"Come on.....you haven't even shown me your shikai yet." Ning'er smiled and then scoffed when he said he was jealous.
She then undid her Shikai and said, "I haven't able to achieve bankai yet." she said with a sad voice.
Ban then put his hand on shoulder and said, "Don't rush.... getting to where you are in just a year is already enough. Take it slow." he then patted her head.
'Its so warm...his hands. Hehe it feels good.' she thought a smile forming on her face.
Ban then removed his hand, she felt a little sad when she lost the warmth but then again smiled and said, "Un... I'll work hard."
'Yes yes you sure will.' Ban thought and smiled towards her.
Meanwhile Ziyun who was there had a lot going on her head that it started to ache a little.
"I need to time to think of all this new information, I'll head home now....and Ning'er please come to my house in evening." Ziyun said and without hearing their reply started walking back.
"Well Guess it was too much for her." ban said.
"Yeah..." Ning'er agreed.
