Capítulo 7: Tournament

Today is the World tournament for Asgard, Álfheim, Vanaheim, Niðavellir, Midgard, Jötunheim, Niflheim, Helheim, and Múspellsheim. I signed up for Niflheim since it's where I started but also to take the Class away from the Humanoids since it's them who got the class in the original timeline, I check my stats before I enter the waiting rooms

Equipment: Rage armor, life-seeker sword, Ring of Concealment, Necklace of Vigor

I used some of the skill points I had to level up my racial class and job classes I had acquired, I also equipped my ring, necklace, and my job classes to increase my combat effectiveness. I finished checking my stats and entered the waiting room and waited for the tournament to begin.

(30 minutes later)

The tournament had officially started and I was teleported to a arena, across from me was another player who was human. He didn't speak and leap forward to begin slashing at me

*Swish Swish Swish*

He missed all his slashes as I dodged and I ended the first match with 3 slashes to the body, I was teleported back to the waiting room and I thought

'I was paired with a lower level'

I thought that because when I killed him, I got a system notification

[You have killed, RoastedPork, Lvl. 67]

It means that the next few matches will be easy though I'm afraid of facing Lvl 100s since I won't know how strong they are until I fight one

'I hope the Restrictions don't cause me to lose'

I thought as the restrictions made me level up significantly slower than all players but it gave better stat increase per level up.

'Looks like the next match is about to start.

(8 hours later)

Two hours into the tournament I have faced lower leveled opponents for the first hour of the tournament then in the 2nd hour the levels of my opponents increased to 90s though most of them didn't give me a lot of trouble, but my next match will put me against a level 100 and then another level 100 if I win this match.

I'm a bit nervous and afraid though not because there is a crowd watching, what I'm afraid is how people would react if they found out my level is 70 and if I beat a level 100 wouldn't they think there something fishy and go report it to the Devs?

'It's too late to worry about it now besides I could just say I got a secret mission because I was the first Heteromorph player'

I thought as I'm teleported out of the waiting room and into the arena which is surrounded by waterfalls, I look up to look at my opponent as he is viewing the arena and the "Pitt"

I waited since he was probably curious about our new surroundings, once we were done he casted buff spells on himself

[Slimostrich]:"[Greater Agility][Greater strength][Greater Perception]"

Seeing this I used all buff spells

[Red Emperor] :"[Greater Agility][Greater strength][Greater Perception][Greater Defense][Greater Accuracy]" I chanted

We then rushed toward each other with our weapon clashing against each other

*PIKSH CLACK*

[Red Emperor]:[Maximizing Penetrating Fire lance]

*Booooom*

"Ackkk"

I managed to hit him with fire lance which broke through his defenses and threw him backwards, taking advantage of his injuries I went near him to finish him off but he quickly casted a barrier and attempted to cast an attack spell but…

[Silence]

His barriers went down and he could not cast magic, and the last thing he saw before getting kicked off the edge were my glowing red dragon eyes.

I was teleported back to the waiting room to wait for the next match to begin but I was getting bored of this tournament since most the opponents were easily defeated

'Well this was one of the boringest competition I've been in then again I got to see the difference between me and level 100s . Let's just make the next match quick then'

I waited for a while before I got teleported once again to the same waterfall arena and before my opponent could lunge towards me

[Red Emperor] Hey I want to finish this match quickly so you got two options, the first option is you lose this match and get heavy humiliated or lose this match and get less humiliated which of the two do you choose

When I said that the crowd watching froze in shock to my arrogant sounding question

[BrewedBean] None!!

He lunged at me and began attack to which I put up a barrier and said

[Red Emperor] Fine I'll give you your most humiliated loss of your life

As I activated my dragon bloodline and began to grow into a dragon, upon seeing this Bean attempted to attack me but his attacks were weaker than my defense and it did no damage. When my transformation was completed I grabbed Bean and threw him around in the air like a toy for a few minutes and then threw him down the waterfall to win the tournament.

The audience were shocked to see me transform into a dragon, there were some that recorded the fight and began posting it in the forums which got attention immediately

I logged out the YGGDRASIL to sleep since the tournament lasted almost all night so I fell a sleep comfortably.....
