Capítulo 47: Logue Town

On the limitless ocean, a massive blue-white ship is sailing; on the ship's deck, all of the Max group members are gathered, evidently discussing something.
"Meet Nojiko, our new partner," Max said as he introduced Nojiko to everybody.
"She will be our chef," Max said.
"Heh? Captain, I am not that great a cook," Nojiko hurriedly said, hearing Max's words.
"Don't worry, you will become one now." Max smiled and passed her a template card he received when he recruited Nojiko.

Abilities: God's Tongue, Perfection, Ingredient Knowledge, Adaptation, Gourmet Cell.
Description: A chef with the best tasting ability, she also has a gourmet cell now, thanks to this great system.
"What's this?" Nojiko asked, looking at the shining card in her hand. The card also has a picture of a beautiful girl on it.
"You can call it a legacy card. Crush it, and you will receive all the abilities of the girl depicted on it. She was a great chef, and after receiving her legacy, you will also become one," Max replied.
Nojiko and others were amazed by the legacy card after knowing its function. Nojiko then crushed the card, and it melted into lights and went inside her.
"They are like improved devil fruits," Deuce said, and others nodded.
"So. Her name is Erina Nakiri," Nojiko mumbled after digesting the legacy card information.
"Thank you, Max; with this, I can surely become strong," Nojiko said to Max.
"Hmm, here, Ace and Deuce, these legacies are for you." Max nodded and then passed Ace and Deuce their template cards.
Ace and Deuce hurriedly grabbed their cards and tore them; they didn't even see what card they received from Max.
They, like Nojiko, were given information about their legacies. Deuce's vibranium sword also transformed into a katana with a white handle and a black sheath.
"Max, can you give me a sword too?" Ace inquired of Max after obtaining knowledge on his legacy, which revealed that he also required a sword.
Max nodded and passed him a vibranium sword.
"Thank you," Ace took the sword and closed his eyes. Soon after, an illusory large bald uncle appeared from Ace and vanished into the vibranium sword. The sword's shape changed to a black short sword, and a white star-like mark appeared in the center of its blade.
Ace opened his eyes, looked at his short sword, and smiled broadly.
"Was that Jeanie earlier?" Felicia inquired.
"He is my partner, Djinn: Amon, not Jeanie," Ace clarified.
"Yes, tell her brat about this great one, Greatness." The Ace short sword let out a heavy voice.
After hearing the Ace sword speak, everyone's attention was drawn to it. "As you can see, Amon is a type of spirit; they form connections with humans, and that short sword is his vessel—kind of like a home," Max explained to everyone about Djinn.
"Through their connection, they provide powers to their human partner; in Amon's case, it's flame ruler and flame or heat immunity," Max explained.
"Deuce Katana also houses a soul; its name is Hyōrinmaru, or Ice Ring; it provides it's partner Ice Ruler and Ice or Cold Immunity ability," Max.
"Also, both Amon and Ice Ring can absorb their respective elements to increase their power, and currently they are in their basic form. Train with them to open more of their forms." Max continued explaining.
Ace and Deuce nodded, as, from the information, they know their weapons also have more forms.
"They are like oppsite of each other" Bucky commented after Max finished explaing.
"Hmm, One is Ice and Other is Fire" Felicia also nodded.
"Okay, go now and train. I will call you guys when we reach our next destination," Max said, and everyone went to training.
Ace and Deuce started to duel, Nojiko went to cook, and Bucky and Felicia trained their Haki and Aura.
After instructing everyone, Max returned to his laboratory to finish his satellite. His focus will not work without it; the Horizon World Focus may work without a communication satellite, but his focus is self-made and not built from the Horizon World Focus blueprint, so it requires a communication satellite to function.
Their next destination is Polestar Island: Logue Town, the birthplace as well as the deathplace of Gol D. Roger, the town of beginning and ending.
They arrived in Logue Town after a week of sailing and barely saw any pirates along the road, thanks to Garp, who, when on holiday, eliminates all pirates along the way.
After docking their ship at the dockyard, the group began disembarking along with their prisoners, Arlong and his gang.
Their ship generated a sensation because the townsfolk had only seen sail-less marine ships, but after seeing the caught Arlong, the pirate with the biggest bounty in the East Sea, the people realized they were bounty hunters.
Max led his people to the Marine branch of Logue Town. Upon reaching there, they saw a man with two cigars in his mouth waiting for them. Max easily identified him as a Smoker.
"Waiting for us? but I don't think we are acquaintances." Max laughed and asked Smoker, who was waiting for him with his whole platoon outside the Marine base.
"Don't flatter yourself; it was a coincidence. I was on patrol when one of my men said that someone was bringing Pirate Arlong to my base. So, I returned and arrived at the same time as you," Smoker remarked with a sneer.
"Here is the bounty; take it and leave." Smoker then motioned for one of his men to pass a bag containing the Arlong bounty and told Max to leave.
"So cold," Max chuckled, signaling Ace and others to hand over Arlong to Marine.
Max then turned around and started walking back to his ship, but suddenly he paused and all the marines except Smoker Fainted, and Smoker dropped on his knees. Without turning, Max said, "Know your place," and continued walking.
Ace looked at Cool Max and said, "I'm definitely going to learn it."
While viewing all of this from an alley, a green-haired man muttered, "So cool." His eyes are brightly gleaming as he looks at Max. If Max sees him, he will immediately recognize him as Bartolomeo. The future number-one fan of Luffy is now Max Fan.
"Conqueror's haki?, Bastard looked down on us." Smoker clinched his teeth and grumbled as he returned his gaze to Max and then to the fainted Marines. He gritted his teeth and began assisting the fainted Marines.
"It's a good thing you showed him his place, or I might have slapped him silly," Felicia stated to Max, applauding his previous move.
Their ship set off again after their brief stop in Logue Town.
