"Urgh! Fuck!"
A young boy about seventeen, muttered in pain as he woke up groggily from his bed. He clutched his forehead, along with some of his silky black hair, as his head ached in pain.
He opened his crystal blue eyes a few moments later as the headache receded like a tide. It felt as if the headache was never there.
Despite the confusing situation, one could only see a huge grin on the face of the young boy which was borderline crazy.
"Finally, I awakened my memories. No wonder I felt weird all these years," The young boy, named Zayne, muttered to himself as he got off the bed.
His head was now full of memories from his past life. After stretching to loosen his muscles, Zayne walked towards the mirror and looked at his body well.
He was tall, almost six feet, but his thin frame made him look even taller but not intimidating. Although his body was thin, it wasn't malnourished.
Paired with his silky black hair, crystal blue eyes, and fair skin without blemishes, he was among the top choices as a partner in his high school.
"But with my cheat, I shouldn't be worried about my physique," Zayne muttered as he took a last look at his reflection before checking the time.
It was early morning, and it was about to hit seven. Since it was a weekend, Zayne didn't have any classes. It was April 2009.
"There's a lot of time until the Marvel Events kickstart, no need to worry about it. Instead, I should check out my cheat," Zayne thought aloud and walked to a clear space in his bedroom.
His bedroom was huge since his parents were quite rich. Though they were no longer with Zayne, their assets remain. As long as Zayne didn't squander thoughtlessly, he could live a good life.
However, there wasn't a lot of bank balance, which was why he also worked as a part-timer at Stark Industries, directly under Tony Stark. By now, he became the youngest millionaire, but unlike Tony, Zayne preferred being low-key.
After moving to an open space, Zayne thought of the name of the skill, 'Teleportation.'
A blinding light appeared before him, covering the entire room. As the light disappeared, the outlines of a huge door entered Zayne's vision.
As the light completely disappeared, Zayne got a clear view of the door.
It was a giant double door made of unknown materials, reaching eight feet. But what caught Zayne's attention was the lifelike owl carved on the door.
Zayne walked towards the door with excitement bubbling inside him. He gently pushed the doors with both hands. Despite its heavy appearance, the doors opened with only slight effort.
The doors opened, revealing the other side in a dramatic light, but ironically, it was only the inside of a small wooden cabin. Yet, it was neat, giving a cosy vibe.
As the doors opened entirely, holographic-like screens popped up before Zayne.

Looking at this screen, Zayne felt a strange sense of excitement. It was from a manga named 'I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too'.
Was it a pretty long name? Maybe. So, let's just call it 'Isekai Cheat Skill'.
It was one of the first manga that Zayne read. It wasn't the best it was almost borderline in the worst category, only if these cheats weren't so good.
The lore itself was trash, or cliché to put it in good words. But the cheats were lowkey overpowered. Only, like always, the main character ruined it.
Anyways, moving back to Zayne. He hesitantly took a step into the door. The soft creaking of the wooden floor made him realize that whatever was happening, was legit.
The wooden cabin was quite huge, without any supporting pillars. The floor was covered in a soft carpet, the furniture made from the finest of woods. Despite it being made of wood, the wooden house had a shine to it.
Zayne looked around at the shiny weapons, luxurious clothes, and various other accessories. His eyes landed on the dining table, on top of which, was a glowing piece of paper.
Zayne picked it up and found it to be in a language he had never seen. But in the next moment, it turned into a language he was quite familiar with. At the same time, a new screen popped up.

Zayne quickly looked through the paper. It said that the previous lord of the house had already passed away. And the next person to find this would become the new owner.

The paper disappeared after Zayne finished reading. Without bothering where it went, instead, Zayne looked at his lower body and used the APPRAISAL skill.

After checking out his status panel, Zayne quickly shifted his attention towards the wardrobe. It had an array of different clothes, both luxurious and plain. But even the plain clothes had an expensive aura to it.
But Zayne's gaze didn't linger on it for long as he quickly turned to the weapon rack, hosting a multitude of weapons but no armour.
He quickly walked towards a long silver spear and picked it up.

He swung the spear a few times, and a notification popped up.

But before he could check their descriptions, a terrifying roar shocked him to his core.
"ROAR!!!"
"The Fuck!" Zayne screamed out in shock. But after calming down, he realised who it belonged to.
"I almost forgot about that thing," After sighing in frustration, Zayne walked out of the door, with the ABSOLUTE SPEAR in hand.
Reaching out, he found a red behemoth banging on an invisible wall. But no matter what it did, it was helpless against the wall.
Looking at this scene, the red behemoth didn't feel that terrifying to Zayne.
"I almost felt pity for it," Zayne muttered before using APPRAISAL.

Instead of an ogre, the behemoth looked more like a demonic being from hell. It had a huge two-meter-tall blood-red muscular body, wearing nothing but ripped fabric for pants. A metal chain wrapped around its shoulders, forming an 'X'.
Zayne lifted the spear and threw it at the ogre. The spear turned into a huge beam of energy, bolting towards the ogre, burning the air around it.
In less than an instant, the beam of energy hit the ogre and ripped it into nothingness.
As the light from the energy faded away, the spear returned to Zayne. Meanwhile, in the place of the ogre were a few drop items.

There was a multitude of items, ranging from a shiny stone to a set of armour.

Zayne quickly placed the set in the ITEM BOX, as for the magic stone and the tusks, he felt it was better to sell them, as he didn't have any need for them.
He used the MONEY CONVERSION ability to sell these items. The tusks earned him $2,500 while the magic stone sold for a solid $5,000.
"It looks like the magic stones are more precious," Zayne quickly concluded and then turned towards the backyard of the house.
After all, it was where the real cheats were.
