20% In Konoha As Aizen / Chapter 4: Who even uses hands seals anymore?

Capítulo 4: Who even uses hands seals anymore?

"Really? I didn't notice," Aizen Fujiwara naturally wouldn't reveal that his enhanced physical and mental energy were due to training his unique technique, far surpassing ordinary people.

If he refined chakra like a regular ninja...

Although only six years old, he couldn't generate a full card of chakra yet, but half a card was no problem.

If he entered Sage Mode, his chakra level would easily skyrocket tenfold.

And this was just because of his young age and the basic level of his technique. In the future, his power would grow exponentially. (P.S.: 1 card = the amount of chakra possessed by Kamui Kakashi).

"Of course I noticed. You used to be a little shorter than me, but now you've already passed me," Izumi said in an exaggerated tone. At this point, Aizen Fujiwara finally saw what she was carrying—two lunch boxes.

Noticing Aizen Fujiwara's gaze, Izumi blushed and gripped the lunch bag tightly, looking away in a huffy manner. "Don't get the wrong idea. I just happened to make an extra lunch this morning. It's not like I was worried you wouldn't have anything to eat for lunch."

"Thanks, I appreciate it," Aizen felt a small warmth in his heart. He had indeed forgotten to prepare his lunch, and the school didn't provide meals.

"Mm." Izumi nodded earnestly, her face lighting up with joy. "Let's go. We should head to the classroom together."

Soon, the two arrived at the classroom.

As Aizen opened the door, he saw that the classroom was almost entirely full.

Their arrival didn't cause much of a stir, as most people's attention was already focused on someone else who had arrived earlier—Itachi Uchiha.

In the background, faint whispers from the girls could be heard.

"Wow, Itachi Uchiha is so cool!"

"Yeah, and he's the son of the Uchiha clan leader too!"

The girls in the Naruto world mature quickly, like how Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Haruno became rivals over Sasuke despite once being best friends. Their bond broke apart just like that, all for the sake of chasing after Uchiha Sasuke.

Hearing the girls gossiping around him, Aizen couldn't help but twitch his lips and mentally grumble about how ridiculous their fangirling was.

Izumi, standing beside Aizen, thought he was envious of Itachi. She tried to console him, "Uh... I actually think Aizen-kun is more handsome than Itachi."

She blushed as she recalled how Aizen had bravely saved her a month ago.

"Let's just find a seat," Aizen said, mentally noting how unconvincing her attempt at comfort was.

On the other side, Itachi Uchiha also noticed Aizen and Izumi, but after hesitating for a moment, he decided against greeting them. Itachi wasn't one to openly express emotions, and they weren't exactly close enough for casual conversation.

Soon, the teacher arrived, a slightly chubby chunin with a mustache. Without much fanfare, he wrote his name on the board and introduced himself, then instructed the students to do the same.

The classroom buzzed with excitement as each student introduced themselves.

Once everyone was done, the teacher began handing out textbooks.

Books like The Modern History of Konoha, The Will of Fire, Chakra Refining Explained, The Three Basic Techniques, Basic Taijutsu Training, and Ninja Tool Throwing: From Beginner to Master. Along with these, they also received standard subjects like geography and math.

These books would accompany every student throughout their six-year ninja academy journey—unless, of course, you graduated early.

As an experienced Naruto fan, Aizen flipped through The Modern History of Konoha. After just one glance, he couldn't help but twitch his lips in disbelief.

The First Hokage's unification of the ninja villages was glossed over. The Second Hokage's role in ending the First Shinobi War was barely mentioned. The collaboration between the Uchiha and Senju clans to establish Konoha wasn't even acknowledged.

The only one who got any real attention was the Fourth Hokage, who sacrificed himself for the village, and even that felt like a last-minute addition.

The rest of the book was all about glorifying the "greatest Hokage of all time"—the Third Hokage. It was full of exaggerated praise about his skills as a Ninjutsu Professor and a Hero of Shinobi, highlighting how he turned the tide in the Second and Third Shinobi Wars, leading Konoha to victory.

The sheer over-the-top glorification was absurd.

Still, as ridiculous as it was, it worked. Most of the civilian students were in complete awe, their eyes practically bulging with admiration.

Itachi, in particular, seemed captivated by The Will of Fire and The Modern History of Konoha, especially the former. His eyes practically sparkled as he read.

It was at this moment that Itachi began viewing everything around him through the lens of the Hokage's ideals.

He started to develop a rebellious attitude toward his own clan.

In the growing conflict between the Uchiha and Konoha, Itachi always thought it was the Uchiha's arrogance that was beyond saving.

He ignored everything the Konoha leadership had done to the Uchiha.

Though he later learned more through his experiences and even apologized to Sasuke before his death, by then it was too late—the Uchiha clan had already been wiped out.

Aizen could only think, "These biased textbooks are truly harmful."

If he hadn't been reincarnated, he might've believed all that propaganda about the old Hokage too.

Likewise, after flipping through The Will of Fire, Aizen tossed it aside without a second thought. Instead, he was much more interested in Chakra Refining Explained, The Three Basic Techniques, Basic Taijutsu Training, and Ninja Tool Throwing—all of which contained practical ninja knowledge.

By lunchtime, Aizen and Izumi had agreed to eat together on the rooftop.

After finishing his meal, Aizen shamelessly asked the little rich girl of the Uchiha clan for some ninjutsu.

"Ninjutsu?" Izumi put down her lunch box, a bit confused. "Didn't the teacher explain the Three Basic Techniques this morning?"

"Too easy," Aizen replied, activating his cultivation technique. After sensing no one was watching, he performed the Three Basic Techniques for Izumi.

Since learning the Heaven Technique, he could now master low-level ninjutsu like the Three Basic Techniques almost instantly. Even if he didn't use his special technique, he could still perform them with ordinary chakra.

Not only that, but he also discovered that after using regular chakra to perform the Three Basic Techniques once, he could replicate them in Sage Mode without using hand seals by simply following the chakra pathways of the technique.

This realization filled him with excitement.

Maybe one day, he could be like the First Hokage or Madara Uchiha, summoning whatever he wanted with just a slap of his hand.

First Hokage: "Madara, do you use hand seals?"

Madara Uchiha chuckled. "I don't need hand seals, Hashirama. Do you?"

First Hokage shook his head: "Isn't it all about slapping your hands and calling out what you need? Who even uses hand seals?"

Kisame, Zabuza, and Kakashi: Already crying in the corner.
