Within the endless depths of a lightless domain of darkness, what looked to be a small ball of light fluctuated with different colours as if it was feeling emotion.
'I died, huh? Oh well, at least I got what I wanted before I croaked.' The floating soul thought to itself as it flashed a satisfied yellow colour.
"Well, I'll say..."
'Yeah, pretty cool right?'
"Indeed, I loved the part where you blackmailed your brother..."
'...'
"..."
'...'
"..."
'Who the fuck are you?'
The soul shifted positions as it turned behind it to face some sort of ethereal being.
"Make a guess," it said in a sarcastic tone as it seemingly rolled its eyes.
'Well, I mean, judging by wherever the hell we are, I'd assume you're some kind of god... since I'm kinda sorta dead...'
"Correct, I am a god. Though, you seem awfully acceptant of that fact..."
'Oh, don't get me wrong, I am very surprised, it's just that there's not much of a point in overreacting."
"I see..."
'So, what do you plan on doing? Serve "justice" and punish me for my horrid actions? Send me to hell, maybe?' the soul questioned in a mocking voice as it flashed a black colour.
The god looked slightly incredulous at the soul's words and laughed out loud, "Hahahaha! Now, why would I ever do that!? Why should I punish you for acting out of your own autonomy and breaking the rules!? If anything I should be rewarding you!"
The soul was in disbelief, 'What?'
What was this god playing at? He had done terrible things, and yet this guy was happy...
"Well, I'm not one of those idiotic benevolent gods... I'm more of an evil one if we're judging by human morality, as flimsy as it is," It said with a small smile... or as close to a smile as a godly being could get.
'An evil god? So that was why he seemed so happy that I did those things,' The soul thought to himself as he prepared to ask the god a question.
'So if you aren't here to punish me... exactly why ARE you here?'
The god lay on his side as he began to look slightly genuine, "I came here to... thank you... for providing me with the best feast I've had in a few millennia..."
If the soul had eyes, they would be narrowed right about now, 'Thank me... How, exactly, do you plan on doing that?'
"Why, by giving you a small token of my appreciation, of course! Think of it as a gift from me to you," The god said as he formed a heart with his hands.
The soul flashed bright yellow in joy, 'What's the gift?' he asked eagerly.
"I saw that you seem to enjoy fanfiction and novels so I decided to... dun du du dun... give you a system and reincarnate you into whatever world you want!"
The bright yellow soul glowed brighter as it stayed silent thinking to itself... 'Any world I want, huh? Well, I don't need to think about it too hard, I already know what I want...'
'Send me into the Naruto world, specifically during the Boruto time period...' The soul requested with fervour.
"Alright! Now, let's get this started!" the god shouted.
The god raised its hand but the soul quickly interrupted, 'Hold up. What kind of system will I be receiving?'
The god simply smiled as he made a placating gesture of reassurance, "You'll see when you get to the other world... wouldn't want the surprise being spoiled."
The soul flashed blue at the words as the god clapped its hands and a bright white light overcame his vision.
'Fuckin' bastard...'

"Let's play catch, Akuto!"
"Hm...? I'd rather not..."
Two children, one boy and one girl, sat in a playground as the girl held two balls in her hand.
"But, whyyyy! You're always playing with that stupid notebook," the blonde girl whined as she slammed the balls on the ground.
Ugh, so loud...
Turns out that I underestimated that god's love for surprises.
It's been around 5 years since I was reborn here and in that time I uncovered quite a bit about this world.
First off, this world is most definitely, 100% an alternate universe... a very alternate universe... Exhibit number 1: presenting Boruto Uzumaki, my... sister. Yeah, turns out this world is like 80% women with most men being oppressed and weaker than their female counterparts.
Oh, I'm also one of Narut-- Naruko's kids... My name is Akuto Uzumaki.
"I don't like playing games... Plus I need to practice..."
An idiotic look of confusion overcame Boruto's face, "Practice? Whatever, I'm gonna tell mom!" she said as she ran away.
Finally, she's gone.
The second thing I discovered was my system... It was less of me awakening my system and more of me finding out that there was an irritating requirement to awaken it.
The requirement to activate the system was to get my penmanship to a level that was worthy of the system.
At the moment, I was writing a poem to perfect organized writing which is unfortunately classified under penmanship.
[29/1000]
That was the number of acceptable pieces of writing.
Despite the fact that it took 2 years to get this much, mostly because I started when I was three, I was in no way discouraged and knew that at the rate I was improving, my penmanship should be at an acceptable level by the time I turn ten.
The reason it would take that long was due to the system scaling up the difficulty in accordance with my level of skill.
'Back to work...'
[Few Hours Later]
"Hey, Mom?"
I was now sitting at the dinner table with my "family" Boruto and Naruko.
Throughout the years, I realized that we oddly didn't have a dad... it was weird since the original Naruto was married to Hinata, but I had seen Hinata before and she was still... a she...
There were still so many things I had yet to discover about the alternate universe aspects of this world.
"Hm? What is it Aku?" Naruko asked with a cute smile as she turned to face me.
She was wearing a tight-fitting, orange and black sweater that accentuated her already bountiful bust and slender waist. Her long, golden hair flowed down her back as her deep blue eyes glowed with joy.
She looked quite a bit like Naruto's Sexy Jutsu, which is to say that she was pretty hot, but she still looked slightly different from the Sexy Jutsu version since she looked less like a surreal doll and more like a real person... which made her image slightly better in my mind.
However, she did still look unnaturally attractive. She was supposed to be around thirty years old right about now, but she still looked like she turned 20, yesterday.
My eyes tended to drift to her unreasonably voluptuous breasts which would be weird if we were actually related, but I already have a mother and that person isn't Naruko, so appreciating her curvaceous body and beautiful appearance puts no moral dilemma on my mind.
Besides, tits are tits no matter who their on, this pair just happened to be on a curvy blonde with whiskers. Has there ever been a better combination?
"When can I learn Ninjutsu?"
Hearing what I said, the previously uninterested Boruto sprang up from her seat, "Yeah, Yeah! When will you teach us jutsu!?"
Naruko seemed slightly overwhelmed by the demands but sighed as she leaned toward us, "Boruto, You turned 6 yesterday so you'll learn jutsu when you start the academy tomorrow."
Boruto grinned stupidly, "Hell yeah!"
However, I was annoyed. She wasn't answering the question, "What about me, Mom?" I asked with a faux cutesy voice.
Naruko's expression shifted into one of apprehension as she walked to my seat, crouched down, and rested her arms on my legs, "Listen, Akuto... You understand that being a ninja is dangerous, right? I would feel much better if you stayed here with Mommy..."
"..."
What?
"If being a ninja is so dangerous, why let Boruto go and not me..." I said with barely concealed anger.
A sad look crossed Naruko's face as she hugged me, "I'm sorry, Aku-chan, but you have to understand. it's hard for a man to succeed, you're naturally weaker than women... I'm just worried about you, honey..."
What the fuck. Worried... about me?
"You understand, right, baby?" Naruko asked softly as she pulled back from the hug and pushed my dull blond hair to the side.
I didn't respond and simply walked away from the table with a sigh, passing by a cocky Boruto, and leaving behind Naruko who had a regretful look in her eyes.
Entering my and Boruto's room, I closed the door and grabbed a notebook as I sat on my bed.
"Hahhhh... Screw them... I thought things would be different in this world, but it's still the same oppressive society..."
Whatever.
I wasn't angry or sad.
Just slightly disappointed. I guess, I expected too much.
"Oh well, they don't matter in the grand scheme of things. right now the only thing I need to focus on is getting the system... then, I can have as much fun as I want..." I said to myself with a strangely excited grin.
All I have to do is prove them wrong. Become more powerful than everyone else.
Then I do whatever I want. GET whatever I want... materials, drinks, food, power, status... women...
I'll do whatever it takes to reach that point.
I'll become a tyrant... I'll rule over the Five Great Shinobi Nations.
I didn't know when I had become so ambitious but... it felt good...
I felt free. Unrestricted by the opinionated laws of man-- or woman, in this case-- as my eyes opened to a world of boundless opportunities.
I'll become a king.
With that thought in mind, I opened my notebook and began to furiously scribble in it.
However, midway through my poetry session, I heard a knock come from the room door, "Akuto? It's me..."
I raised an eyebrow in surprise as I let her in, "What is it?"
The room door spread open, revealing Naruko who walked in, closing the door behind her as she sat at the desk next to me.
"Akuto... about what I said..." Naruko spoke hesitantly as she sighed, "I'm sorry..."
"What?" I spoke disbelievingly.
Is she gonna...?
"If you really-- and I mean really --want to go to the academy then... then I suppose you can go... Just promise that you won't work yourself too hard..." Naruko said before being interrupted by my arms wrapping around her torso in a hug.
I would've found a way to go by myself but having permission is obviously the better option.
"Thanks mom..."
