Lorenzo twitched, so I held out a hand to stop him.

They've just called the money everyone worked so hard for dirty. It's understandable to be angry.

"We don't need bad guys on our estate. We'll keep our estate clean without relying on you."

Is that so?

Take a deep breath.

While the Marquis scolded Airi, I continued to take deep breaths.

"I apologize for my daughter's behavior."

"No, don't worry about it. More importantly, Marquis Martell, we'd like to know if you intend to accept our investment. If you're even slightly interested, we'll explain the details of the plan."

After remaining silent for a while, the Marquis slowly spoke up.

"It's a very welcome offer, but I'll have to decline."

"Is that the same as Airi's opinion then?"

The Marquis fell silent. So it's the same as Airi's opinion.

Looking at Busho, his lips curled up. This must be the development he wanted. Up to this point, at least.
