"I'm not scheming, just securing an asset," David replied without even blinking.

"Wow, what a businessman," Naomi said.

"It's not business, just common sense," David replied.

"I'll look into it, and you start looking into getting a personal assistant. Your sovereignty and all is interrupting my peace," Austin said as he started tapping away on the tab before him.

David paid him no mind and turned to his nieces, who were still busy insulting his posture, smile, and everything else.

Sometimes David wondered if it would have been better to just drop the two off in the center of the ocean and leave them there.

The car progressed smoothly, and soon they were in front of a large hotel. None of them understood the point of such a grand welcome.

As soon as the car stopped, the security team immediately got out and did their best to secure the perimeter.
