He had been lying on the bed listening to Gaddaf speak to the lady of the goddess whom he assumed they had called to heal him.

'Demon blood is not something I'm immune to yet,'

But he was still thinking of how he could make sure that such an incident never happened again when he heard them mention something about a bond.

He knew enough to know what the women in the temple did, and much as he knew Gaddaf hated the sight of him, the thought that he would force a bond upon him was something he had never considered.n

'They wouldn't!' he internally growled in anger while trying to maintain a perfectly blank expression on his face, one akin to someone who was completely unconscious.

His first thought was to jump off the bed the second they left, which was why he was surprised to discover that his So-called bond chose to remain.
