Song Jian crawled out of the sleeping bag, and by then the robot Nafiboja had already transformed back into its previous shape that was best for evasion and running. It lay prone on the dune, pointing ahead and motioning Song Jian with a wave of its hand.

Song Jian was startled and quickly packed up his sleeping bag, then lay down next to Nafiboja, squinting into the distance ahead.

The surroundings were dark, and squinting, Song Jian could make out a huge figure in the distance using the faint starlight. It was over ten meters tall and looked like a massive tornado slowly moving through the Golden Desert.

Such a huge body moved through the desert making only a slight sound, which Song Jian found odd. When the creature entered his field of vision, he realized it was an elemental monster that could flow and walk on the surface of the desert.
