I had this sudden burst of inspiration and wrote this short chapter. It's half the size of a regular one, but since it's an extra, you won't be mad at me, will you?
------------------------------
In the universe, on a planet teeming with life, various beings of different races walked the streets with smiles on their faces.
Men and women went about their business, while children ran in the streets with smiles on their faces.
But suddenly, everything seemed to come to a halt.
A massive shadow cast over the city, causing everyone to look up.
Men and women, upon seeing the source of the shadow, covered their mouths in horror.
"N-No! N-Not again!" One of the men on the street was trembling and stammering. His eyes filled with tears and horror.
"Leave me alone! I finally had a new home and family. P-Please don't take it away from me again." The man was on the brink of madness at this moment. He fell to his knees and begged with lifeless eyes staring at the immense ship.
His reaction was not unique. Many other men and women also fell to the ground in despair.
Huge energy shields appeared on the planet. Iron legions rose from their slumber and flew into the sky.
But even that was not enough to bring a glimmer of hope to those souls.
"Thanos..." The man murmured with his last strength, the name of the butcher.
The massive black ship that blocked out the sky seemed pristine, but the scent of blood seemed to engulf the planet.
On the ship's main deck, an immense man with purple skin stood as if nothing could topple him. He gazed at the vast planet, which seemed small before his own grandeur.
He was destiny, and nothing could escape his grasp.
He is inevitable.
"Master, should I order the attack? I wonder who gave these so-called 'sanctuaries' the courage to dare to go against Lord Thanos' plans? I have to-" Ebony Maw asked in a courteous manner, but his message was that of the worst of assassins.
Ebony Maw would have continued speaking, but Thanos simply raised his hand, and Maw dared not breathe loudly.
Thanos lowered his hand and placed it on his back, alongside the other.
His emotionless face stared down at the vibrant planet below.
"The sanctuaries do not go against my plans; in fact, they aid them. It will be just a bit more work. When the population of a sanctuary grows too large, then it will be time for the harvest. The population will decrease, and the resources through the sanctuary remain untouched. Then it will be perfectly balanced. Come, I've seen what I wanted." Thanos said and ordered the departure.
He then gave one last complicated look to the planet before the ship jumped and disappeared.

[Sir, one of the sanctuaries had its defense systems activated. A large warship approached the planet. But the ship stayed for only a few minutes and then left.]
"Huh?! Was it the Kree? On which planet did this happen, Jarvis?" I asked in surprise on a balcony in Paris.
[It was sanctuary number 38 that sent the alert. According to my database, the planet's original name is
