Capítulo 7: Chapter 7 Ackerman family
Eren was very interested in Luci as he had never seen a noble before.
Don't mention a great one.
They usually live inside Wall Sina and not the outer part like Wall Rose like this.
He hesitated at first but in the end he couldn't hold his curiosity back and asked him many questions about himself.
Luci, as an above average Otaku, could answer many questions without making Grisha suspicious of him.
He finally introduced himself as Lucifer Junior Morningstar.
His name was like those from the great noble. The longer the name was. The more prestigious they were.
Grisha carefully listened to him and he sighed in relief.
That meant he finally gave up on thinking of him as a bad guy. And more to a burden that he had to bring with him.
It took about two hours for the rain to stop.
Grisha then spoke to Eren.
"The rain has stopped for now. We should get going."
After he finished speaking to Eren he then looked at him.
"I will help you to Wall Rose, but before we go there. We have to stop at my acquaintance's place first. I hope you don't mind."
Grisha became more polite. He didn't want to have a problem with a noble.
"I don't mind it at all. It is my fault that I got lost and have to be imposed on you."
Grisha was surprised that a noble actually apologized to him.
From the conversation he had with his son. He could tell that he wasn't like any other noble he had met before.
He is a kind of nice young man.
'So there is this kind of noble as well. No wonder he snuck out of Wall Sina. He might have felt uncomfortable around the other nobles.'
Grisha then led both Eren and Luci toward his acquaintance's place.
It wasn't far from the Forest Of The Giant Tree.
It was a log house isolated from civilization.
Grisha knocked on the door and then a man opened the door for him.
"Sensei! Thank you for coming even with this terrible weather. Come in please."
Grisha smiled and said thank you to him. He and Eren then walked inside the log house.
Eren, who saw Mikasa, felt like he had seen her somewhere before but he shook his head.
Grisha then asked the man who should be Mikasa's father.
"I have someone with me. Is it okay to let him in with us?"
His name was Ackerman with no surname. He looked at the one who came with Grisha and was very surprised.
Like Grisha, he could tell that the young man must be a noble.
His face was fair and untarnished by the sun. His clothes also looked very nice and expensive.
He was unsure to let such a person inside his humble house but because of the relationship between him and Grisha.
He decided to let him in.
'I can't let him stand outside and face the incoming rain anyway.'
"Thank you."
Ackerman was shocked that a noble actually thanked him.
He looked at Grisha and saw that he was smiling.
"He isn't like any noble we met before, right?"
Ackerman nodded his head. He felt relief that the one Grisha brought with him was actually a nice young noble.
Eren and Mikasa became friends after the adults introduced them to each other.
Mikasa was being taught embroidery by her mother. Eren said that it was too womanly for him.
She at first paid attention to Eren but when she heard that she lost interest in him.
She was curious about Luci instead.
This was her first time seeing a noble inside her house.
"You are curious about him as well, right Mikasa. I will tell you something interesting about him! He is a noble but he doesn't act like them at all!"
Eren became happy when he talked about Luci. It was like he wanted to be like him, a free spirit that didn't have any shackle on him.
Mikasa listened to every word Eren said and she nodded. She wanted to know if the noble liked to do embroidery or not.
"You want to talk to him, right? Don't worry he doesn't bite. Come with me!"
Eren brought Mikasa to Luci and then he asked him if he could talk with Mikasa.
"Why not? Little one, what do you want to talk with me about?"
Luci asked while he looked at the embroidery in her hand.
"I–I want to know if the noble like to do embroidery?"
Luci thought about it and nodded.
"Actually, it is pretty popular among the noble women to do embroidery for their husband and kids."
Mikasa heard that and she felt happy. She didn't think that it would be popular among the noble ladies.
She then showed him her embroidery. She wanted to know if her skill was up to the standard of the noble or not.
"Okaa-chan told me that I do embroidery well. Do you also think so? Um, what is your name mister?"
Eren hadn't told her about his name yet.
"My name is Lucifer Junior Morningstar. You can call me Luci if you want. But please don't use mister to me. It made me feel old…"
Eren heard that and he protested.
"What about me, Lucifer-sama! I want to call you that as well!"
Luci laughed when he saw his reaction. He then looked behind him and smirked.
He saw a silhouette of Eren with light purple color.
He must be the Eren that moved inside the path of the founding titan.
He couldn't see him clearly but he could tell that it was him.
"No, you can't call me Luci. I will only allow my family and female population to call me that."
"It's not fair!"
Luci shrugged and told him to accept it.
Eren felt wrong but there was nothing he could do.
*knock* *knock*
Suddenly someone knocked at the door. Ackerman was confused and looked at Grisha.
"I don't have any expected visitors today except for you Grisha-sensei."
Both of them could tell that something was wrong here.
Whoever knocked at the door right now shouldn't be someone that he knew.
Ackerman's house was too far away for any visitors to come this late.
They would only come to his house in the morning and go back at noon.
Only Grisha that he personally invited would come at this time.
