Capítulo 14: Chapter 13 Jack
Luci had one week off from the harsh training Yao put him through.
He sighed in relief as he was now walking around the Parker mall to take in the surrounding atmosphere.
This place was huge and had everything one could think of.
Cheap things to very expensive things.
Luci came here to chill. He hoped that nothing bad would happen.
"Let me live my life a little bit. Those kidnappers please go away."
He didn't have to worry about being kidnapped because he was very strong compared to normal humans.
However, it couldn't be denied that it was kind of annoying to stop the kidnapper from kidnapping him.
He was chilling and nothing bad happened to him. But then he heard someone screaming very loudly.
The screaming was full of fear and disgust.
[Luci-sama, Ceil detected the anomaly. Someone is awakened their X-gene or Meta-gene]
"X-gene? Meta-gene What are they?"
[They are basically mutated genes that will make people become mutants or metahumans. They would have special power.]
"Like me?"
[Luci-sama can't be measured by mortal standard. Even though they will have special power. It could not reach Luci-sama level.]
Luci heard that and he shrugged. He had to remind himself of who he really was.
He was a grandson of the true god. His father is a true Satan. And his mother is a true Angel.
"Let's go and check on them shall we."
[Yes, Luci-sama.]
Luci walked toward the place where he heard the screaming.
He saw a little boy's body kept changing into many people. Kids, Teenagers, Adults, Old people.
He had no control over his transformation.
He was afraid and confused.
He tried to hug his mother but was refused and was even pushed away by her.
"Mama!"
Luci narrowed his eyes.
He looked around and found that people still hadn't paid attention to them much.
He decided to do something.
He used a mirror dimension. No, it was not the mirror dimension per say. But it was his personal pocket dimension.
The boy was even more confused and tried to look for his mother.
"Hey, kid. I know you are afraid and confused but you have to listen to me."
Luci approached the little boy with a friendly smile. His eyes were glowing white right now.
The boy felt calm when he saw him. But the next moment he cried as he remembered his mother's face.
She had shown her fear and disgust toward him.
She didn't even want him to come near her.
"Mama, Mama hates me now."
Luci didn't know what to say to the boy. He wanted to tell him that it wasn't his fault but he knew that such a comfort word wouldn't help.
"I think she is not in her right mind. I will take care of you for now so don't worry about anything. You can live here for however long you want."
In his personal pocket dimension. There was everything that a boy like him would need.
"I want to go home with mama but I know she doesn't want to see me now. Mister, can you contact my papa? He loves me more than mama."
It's very hurt but not everyone would love their child equally.
He nodded and asked what his father's name was.
"My father's name is Jack, Jack Napier!"
Luci nodded and then asked Ceil to find where this person was.
Ceil could connect to the internet and become something like Skynet.
She could find any information that he wanted.
[Luci-sama, I think we have a problem. Jack Napier is found guilty of mass murdering people out of madness. He is admitted to Gotham Asylum right now.]
"...Shit, what should we do about the kid?"
He looked at the kid carefully and found that he looked familiar somehow.
The little kid then looked at him with hopeful eyes.
"Uh, Your father is a little bit busy. He entrusted you to me for the time being."
He couldn't tell him that his father had become a mass murderer and was admitted to an asylum right.
"Really? If my papa entrusts me to you then. You must be a good guy like uncle Bruce Wayne!"
When Luci heard the name. His eyes went wide.
"Uncle Bruce Wayne? You know him?"
The boy nodded and told him about his relationship with him.
"Wait a minute, I think I have seen you somewhere before. Are you Jack Oswald White?"
"You know me, mister?"
Luci nodded. He had met him once when he was just a baby.
He remembered his mother back then was beautiful and caring but the woman he saw today was completely different.
Her name, if he remembered correctly, was Karen or something.
"I met you when you were just a baby. I went to uncle Bruce's mansion five years ago. You and your father and mother go there to visit him."
Jack nodded his head quickly. If Luci can go to his uncle's mansion. He should be someone close to him.
Luci now knew how to deal with this situation.
"I can drop you off at his home if you want to. How about that?"
Luci wasn't old enough to take care of a kid. Bruce was a very nice man so he was sure that he would take good care of the kid.
"Yes, please bring me to uncle. He loves me as much as papa loves me! He will help me with this as well."
Jack changed his face to match Bruce. And it was very funny.
"I don't know if uncle Bruce can help you with it or not but I will try to find a way to help you as well."
Luci then brought little Jack back home.
However, he didn't need to bring little jack to Bruce's mansion at all because he was already there in his house.
