Capítulo 155: Chapter 155: The Battle Begins! Testing? Clashing Swords!

Sleep. Death. The fluctuations of these two laws gradually calmed down, and with their restoration, the twin gods Hypnos and Thanatos returned to the Temple of the Sun.

Throughout the entire process, the twin gods remained composed, displaying an absolute calmness without any emotional fluctuation.

"Lord Hades!" Hypnos bowed slightly and reported, "Everything has been handled."

Hades responded indifferently, "Go and participate in the Titan War on the earthly realm."

"As you command!"

After the twin gods bowed and left, they headed towards the earthly realm. As for the sun deity subordinate to Hyperion, their story had already ended; their life had come to a close.

Similarly, Hyperion was also very calm, seemingly indifferent to the tragic death of his subordinate deity, as if it didn't matter at all.

Hyperion said faintly, "Hades, it's time to begin."

Hades simply stared at Hyperion.

The next moment, a metallic sound rang out, like the cry of a dragon. Two divine swords, one dark and the other radiant like the sun, clashed together. At some point, Hades and Hyperion, who had been facing each other, now stood eye to eye, their expressions calm and unperturbed.

Between the two divine swords, formed by their divine powers, laws and divine energies collided. This terrifying clash seemed as if it would destroy everything, but it remained confined to a small area, with no impact beyond that.

This showed just how precise both deities were in controlling their divine power and laws, with no leakage or mishaps.

Hyperion chuckled lightly, "Hades, you truly are formidable! Whether it's your divine power, laws, or swordsmanship, there's nothing to criticize."

"This is just the beginning," Hades replied indifferently.

Hyperion gave a faint smile. The battle had only just begun. The divine swords, formed from their divine powers, continued to clash, sharp light and intense killing intent colliding as if trying to tear each other apart.

Divine power! Laws! Swordsmanship! These three elements intertwined rapidly as Hades and Hyperion briefly exchanged blows before separating again.

Hades swung his sword, unleashing a dark sword energy composed of numerous laws, as if to pierce through everything. This overwhelming sword energy covered the entire Temple of the Sun. In response, Hyperion's eyes gleamed sharply, and he swung his Sun Sword with a powerful strike. The massive clash of divine power and laws instantly obliterated the Temple of the Sun.

On the star of the sun, the explosion of these two forces covered most of the star, but destroying the star itself? Even bringing Cronus wouldn't make that possible, as it wasn't a matter of power but a limitation of the mythical world.

No matter what, within the confines of the mythical world, unless one completely transcends it, attempting to destroy a star that represents the world's essence is akin to dreaming.

Hyperion exhaled slightly, standing bare-chested with his burning Sun Sword in hand, exuding confidence and dominance. He said, "Hades, you've defeated both Coeus and Iapetus. I can't deny that you've grown remarkably fast, reaching such a level in such a short time."

Hades calmly looked at Hyperion, unfazed by these words of praise. Iapetus and Coeus had said similar things before. It was meaningless.

The clash of swords ended in a stalemate. In terms of pure swordsmanship, there was little difference between Hades and Hyperion. Both had learned techniques from Coeus, essentially having the same teacher. Without deep study, it would be difficult to surpass each other.

This wasn't unusual, as both Hades and Hyperion had learned from Coeus. But did they truly value these techniques? Likely not. For them, the most important thing was the laws they wielded; everything else was secondary.

If they prioritized anything else, it would be a mistake. Hades, whether creating the Underworld, crafting artifacts, or cultivating faith, focused on one core principle: the laws. Everything was about enhancing his mastery over these laws.

Otherwise, possessing everything else but weak laws wouldn't make one a powerful deity. Hades understood this very well.

Hyperion was no different. Though he seemed to dabble in everything, he, like Hades, valued his essence and nature deeply. The core truth for both was that only by having strong laws could they truly be strong. Everything else, though it might enhance or elevate them, would be meaningless if the laws were weak.
