Capítulo 66: MISSING LADIES

The Archmage Tower's underground prison was a place of suffocating darkness, regardless of the sun's position in the sky. Daniel found himself confined to one of these bleak cells, his body forced into a kneeling position, his head bowed, and his face etched with a grim expression.

The sound of footsteps echoed through the dungeon as Captain Elijah descended the stairs, with Leo following closely behind. The stationed knights saluted the Captain as they approached Daniel's cell and opened the heavy iron door.

Inside, Daniel was slumped on his knees, his gaze fixed on the cold stone floor. Elijah crouched down and conjured a flame in his hand, illuminating Daniel's face. The sudden brightness caused Daniel to squint, his eyes having grown unaccustomed to light.

"Is this the boy?" Elijah asked solemnly, his gaze fixed on Daniel. Daniel's eyes widened in recognition as he found himself face-to-face with the Captain, his role model.
