Capítulo 7: D-Day part 4
"Oh so so i guess we can forgo social niceties, Prince Damian... As you have guessed we are here to talk about an important matter." I said as I took a seat; clearly wanting to quickly solve our issues.
"What is this so called important matter that brought you all here? As far as I know, You are all about to blow your covers by being here." Said Damian in an exasperated tone.
"We really just want to attend school like any young teenagers and wish to have more time before having to put on our debutantes costumes and play dolls and by time we mean obviously years; to make it fair to us." replied Skyrielle, with a serious expression.
"Take the next ferry home now! We'll discuss this matter once we're back to the safe house, so get going!" ordered Daniel.
"No!!! Enough is enough how long are you going to treat us like brainless dolls!! you should understand us better than the rest of them!!! Sure we have responsibilities we are not going to run away from them we just don't want to lose this part of our lives!! Skye is me just as Skyrielle is me too! you can not ask me to kill one of them for the other... and forget everything prior my social debut as a princess!''
On the other side of the door 12 pairs of fathers and daughters were closely listening to the conversation going on in the meeting room. The girls were on one side ignoring their fathers while the fathers on the other hand were all trying to at least catch their attention.
The dukes had shocked expressions painted on their face at the sudden outburst that could be heard loud and clear the more they listened the more they started to question their past decisions
Prince Damian still had his expressionless mask on not giving away his state of mind. He keep his eyes on that strong willed daughter of his trying to find any sign of fear and doubt but he found none... with a deep sigh he closed his eyes to clear his mind before looking back at her and declared.
"Are you all done eavesdropping? if you are then get back in here seems we have to talk all of this out together." once everyone was back in the room he reluctantly added; "I suppose you already have a plan all prettily designed in that smart brain of yours'' calmly said Damian. "guys go to the ceremony it can't be delayed anymore mean while I have a discussion with those young ladies.''
Quickly the dukes all left the office and did as they were told. Every one of them had a sad expression painted on their face. After all they had never seen their daughters with such serious expressions and might have also been jealous of Damian keeping them all to himself.
The girls couldn't help but give each other "now this is funny..." look.
"Speak I do not have all day if your plan is do able I'll submit it to the king.''
