"Evan Draven! When will you stop being a royal pain? Packing your stuff is not in my job description you know!"
"Sorry Mari Angela I know that, but you don't have to make a scene we have a guest... "
I walked in the apartment looking for her. She was angry cooking in the kitchen.
"M. A* I'm sorry... But look this way will you it's a new guest."
"Oh my I'm sorry... I'm Mari Angela, its so rare to see Evan have friends other than her childhood ones."
"Is that so I'm Elijah nice to meet you." Awkwardly said Elijah as he returns Mari Angela's greeting. He hardly expected that kind of situation when he followed Evan into the High class apartment.
Mari Angela grabbed me by the arm and put a lot of distance between Elijah and us.
"Why don't you sit in the living room Evan and we will be right back."
"M. A?"
"Is that your boyfriend?" She whispered
"What?! No he's not he's just a student council member!" I whisper yelled back. "For your kind information I don't even know him and haven't even talked to him for a fact!" I dragged her into my room and close it with a kick.
"Right I believe you but he's a cute kid. You should be considering him as a potential boyfriend. Wait you haven't talked to him... The Evan that I know would have already made him fall head over heals by now!!."
"Don't say anything more Mari Angela de Blois.. You are watching too much dramas these days old hag."
She just smiled and shoved my bags at me.
"Talk to him... Don't be a coward, I didn't raise a coward. You both might have a lot in common."
Reluctantly I left the room pulling the heavy bags by the straps. Elijah was looking put the window.
"I'm good to go..."
"Good..."
He took the bag from me and effortlessly placed it on his shoulders... not that I couldn't carry it by my self. but that's kind of cute but then he's a member of the aristocracy… so they might have drilled it in his mind during etiquette lessons... the more I thought about the aristocracy the more scared of them I got.
After sometime I felt his gaze on me I realized that I was absent mindlessly staring right at him. I rushed to the door and left the place that felt the most like home to me.
"Thanks... for the bag..." I said without looking at him " just to make things clear... I wasn't staring I was thinking you just happened to be in my field of view when I was spacing out."
"Right, what ever helps you sleep Evans..." he replied but I could tell he was making fun of me.
"Don't call me that Elie… We should head out for dinner I am starving!"
"Don't call me Elie!"
"Then don't call me EVANS!!!!!"
"I do not feel like doing so it is so entertaining to see you get angry for such a petty nickname"
"Same for you at least its not a girlish nickname!"
