Capítulo 44: Awkward moments part 13
"What should we make for dinner?" I asked as we entered the grocery shop casually pick up a grocery basket only to have Kazuto casually take it from me.
"How about curry? We could make enough for tomorrow... Second day curry is the best!" he exclaimed as he pulled me along with his free hand.
"Right I guess it was stupid of me to ask you Curry maniac for menu ideas!!"
"Come on using maniac in such a situation might make people misunderstand me think of my reputation as an outstanding full-fledged member of society."
"Are you done with your soliloquy? We have shopping to do…"
"Lead the way my lady!! I shall escort you through these endless rows of shelves."
After 30 mins of non-stop fooling around while trying to pick all the ingredients needed for the curry. The finally left the grocery shop with 3 bags packed full.
"We should head back they should be heading toward our place now. I ca not wait for them to taste our super special curry."
He should stop saying things like our place its embarrassing... We don't even live together just next to each other. That should apply to the curry too… so embarrassing. They hurriedly walked through the streets that led towards Kazuto's house only to find Touka and Strykerius reaching there at the same time they did.
"Well that was quick Touka thought you had a lot to pack." Said Kazuto as I took his keys out of his pocket since both of his hands were full with the bags. I opened his front door and took out my slippers off the rack and headed towards the kitchen leaving him behind. I could vaguely hear Touka's reply as I went deeper in the house.
"No i didn't have that much to pack and Strykerius is a fast walker..."
"Well come in and make yourselves at home."
I started to clean and cut the vegetables while Kazuto served them some drinks. By the time i was done the whole gang was here. I put the curry on the stove before calling Kazuto out.
"Check on the curry, it's on the stove! I'm going home with the gang!" I shouted as I climbed up the stairs three steps at a time with the others following behind.
"Fine but go though the door and not the window!" He shouted back but it was too late we already had climb up the stairs to his room and went through his window to go towards mine.
"I guess if I really wanted them to listen to me I should have been telling them off since they were younger… Am I too soft when it comes to dealing with them?" Kazuto could not help but heavily sigh at their behavior and could only grudgingly mutter to himself while complaining how unruly these brat can behave even though they are not toddlers anymore.
