After Wining the captain's approval, Shinji and his friends arrived safely at Dolle Harbor.
"Thanks, captain, I had a great time!" Gon stood in front of the captain and bid farewell to him.
"Right I would never forget this experience in my life " Shinji besides him nodded his head, from his previous life till now, he never experienced this fun in his life, meeting new friends, experiencing Storms, Saving a person, etc….

The captain in front of them was smoking using his pipe, he laughed loudly.

Gon titled his head. He was puzzled. While Shinji's expression remained the same, he already knows what the captain is about to say.

He pointed at a big tree far away on the top of a hill.

Gon and Shinji followed his direction and nodded their head.
The captain continued saying "you should make your way there first, it's a shortcut to the exam site."
"A shortcut? Got it! I just need to head for that tree, I'll do that Captain! Thanks " Gon excitedly replied, while Shinji looked at the young man hiding behind the box eavesdropping on their conversation.
'Poor man, he thinks he discovered a shortcut to the exam site, but in fact, it's a shortcut to hell.' Shinji thought, but he didn't intend to change his fate or anything. It was his choice to follow them, so he must pay the price for making the wrong choices. Moreover, the other party doesn't seem a good person at all so why he should save him in the first place. Shinji, Kurapika, Leorio, and Gon stood in front of a big map on a board.
"Huh…That's Strange." Leorio with his right hand below his chin said.
"Why?" Gon looked at Leorio, he didn't understand what he meant, so he asked.
"According to the notice I received, the exam is supposedly being held somewhere in Zabban City"
"Right now, we are here."
he pointed to their place on the map.
"That tree is in the opposite direction to Zabban City!"
he moved his finger to the left top of the map, where the symbol of a hill and a big tree is drawn. then he moved it to the right area of the map, precisely on the location of Zabban City.
"Perhaps you misheard him?" Kurapika asked Gon.
"No, he told me to head toward that cedar tree, Shinji was also there." Gon Shook His head.
Both Leorio and Kurapika looked at Shinji, with a look of 'does what he said is right?'
Shinji nodded his head, he said " what Gon said is right." He paused for a moment.

The man smiled evilly as he walked and stood in front of the old woman.

The old woman was silent for a while before she waved her hand at her group to open the door for him. and said "you may pass."
"What? How can this answer be correct!" Leorio doesn't understand, with such an answer she allowed him to pass, this old woman is really out of her mind. Anger kept building in his chest.
"You just have to tell the old lady what she wants to hear, Adios!"
"Stop the bullshit, How was that the right answer! Are we supposed to give the old lady the answer she wants? And that's considered correct? I won't take this Quiz! I'll find another route!" Leorio turned to leave, but he was stopped by Shinji.
Kurapika's brain run fast trying to come up with a solution, when he heard the words of Leorio he realized something.

Shinji came near Leorio's ear and whispered to him in a low voice :

"Leorio, why the heck do you always like to speak loudly?" Shinji gave Leorio an angry look.
The old lady looked at them, especially at Shinji, she thought: 'did he discover the answer quickly?'
then said, "Here is your question…"
A tense atmosphere enveloped them.
"Your son and daughter have been kidnapped, you can only rescue one."
"Select 1 for your son, select 2 for your daughter."
The old lady stopped for a moment and looked at them for a while, before continuing.
"Which will you rescue?"

Kurapika who realized the answer felt relieved when he saw Shinji calm down Leorio

"5…4…3…2…1…" the old lady starts the countdown.
"Time's up!" the old lady announced, She looked at the four of Shinji's group, who remained silent all this time.
Because of the interference of Shinji, that scene where Leorio almost Hit the old lady didn't happen at all.
"Not bad, boys." The old lady looked at them and praised them.
She said: " you have passed the quiz."
"Huh? We have passed? when?" Leorio who was furious was immediately calmed when he heard her words.
Kurapika smiled and solved his doubts: " this quiz had no right answer. However, we could only state 1 or 2 as the answer."
Then he looked at the old lady and said: "in other words, we weren't meant to respond at all, silence was the only answer."
The old lady nodded her head, indicating what kurapika just said is correct.
But Leorio remembered something "but what about the other guy?"
Kurapika answered him: "they never said he gave the right answer, she only said 'you may pass.' In other words, this path is the wrong path."
He looked at the old lady and asked her: "am I right?"
The old lady stood up from her chair while saying "Precisely, the correct path is over here." She walked toward a closed gate on their left side.
Two masked men opened the gate, revealing a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, they could see the light entering from the other side.
She stood in front of the tunnel and said: "This leads directly to the tree, walk two hours and you will reach the top."
"A couple lives in the cabin beneath that tree, they serve as a navigator."
"If you meet their standards I believe that they will guide you to the exam site."
"Ahh it's no use, I can't think of an answer at all!" Gon who was pondering the answer, sat on the ground tiredly, no matter how he thought he can't find a solution at all.
Leorio laughed when he saw this scene "Gon, you were still trying to find an answer? You can stop?"

Gon added " it wouldn't be right to choose just one…But one day, I have to make that choice."
The words of Gon made the atmosphere dignified, all of them know that what he said isn't ruled out to happen to each one of them in the future, they imagined themselves having to make this difficult choice, but in the end, they simply can't decide or find any solution.
"Why do you complicate things, Guys?" Shinji broke the silence.
All the eyes gathered on him.
"What do you think, Brother Shinji?" Gon asked Shinji, he wants to hear what Shinji will do if he was put in this situation.
'Yes, what will you do, Shinji-Kun ' kurapika also was interested in Shinji's answer.
'Hmm, interesting let's see what this brat thinks' the old lady's interest was immediately picked up by Shinji's words.
"The answer is simple…" Shinji looked serious as he said.
The others looked at him waiting for his answer.
"POWER!" Shinji screamed as he starts flexing the 'muscles' that he didn't have.
They almost fall to the ground.
"It's Power again! " Leorio complained.
'How much he is obsessed with power?' kurapika was currious, it seems besides power, there is nothing else Shinji cares about, no he seems to forget Shinji's gentleman nature.
"What do you mean, brother Shinji?" Gon still didn't get it, the same for the others, only the old lady who nodded her head as if she understood what he meant.
"Gon, if you don't want to fall in situations like this, then become stronger as soon as possible! Become strong enough until nobody dares to threaten your loved one! Become strong enough that no matter what happened, you can save and protect whoever you want. There is no other choice, this is the only way!" Shinji looked at Gon's eyes directly as if trying to impact his Ideology into the pure mind of Gon.
"The weak don't have the right to choose." Shinji concluded with such a sentence.
The old lady also added " what this boy said is correct. You don't know when this harsh reality gonna slap your face, so be prepared for it now better than to be sorry later, this is your only way to avoid making these difficult choices!"
"Grandma, take care," Shinji said goodbye to the old lady.
"Grandma, thank you for your help!" Gon also thanked her.
"Sorry for my rudeness before" Leorio bowed his head in apology for his rude behavior when he screamed at her.
Then they bid farewell to the old lady and entered the tunnel.
