Etiquette Classroom | 12th October 1987 | 8:50 AM

Charlus was standing in the front of the classroom where the professor would normally stand. Sirius was standing to a side where he wasn't clearly visible. He was just there to see how Charlus would do. Charlus had been waiting for almost 10 minutes till every student had come. After everyone came, he started talking.

"Good Morning everyone. I am Charlus Potter. I am sure many of you are wondering - 'What is Charlus Potter doing in the front of the classroom?' Well, I am giving an unofficial apology speech. Once Madame Abadie will come, I will be giving another speech, but that one will be shorter. First of all, I would like to apologize for pranking Madame Abadie. The one that made Madame Abadie's skin purple? That was me. So I would like to apologize for getting all of us free periods for the past week. I'm sure all of us must have missed Madame Abadie a lot. So from now on, I don't think I should prank anyone because if I do, we might have free classes, and the teacher that everyone likes will get hurt. So once again, I would like to apologize"

Charlus said this and waited for the response. Everyone took it in, and finally one of them started clapping. Then everyone followed. No one was able to recognize who started it, but everyone followed. This clapping signified their support for what Charlus did.

"I'm going to take that as no to no pranking."

The clapping intensified and Charlus smiled.

"Madame Abadie is going to be here any minute."

The clapping died down and everyone waited for the professor. Once Madam Abadie came into the room, she looked at Charlus in the front. She looked very angry, but she couldn't do anything as his guardian was there. She came to the front and faced Charlus.

"Madame Maxime told me that you had something to say to me."

"Yes, Madame Abadie. I apologize for pranking you last week. I apologize for taking one week of your time."

He said that and went back to his chair. Madame Abadie was not satisfied with the apology.

"Is that all boy?"

"Is there anything else Madame Abadie?"

"That's all? A simple apology? Is this what your parents taught you? You put me in the infirmary for a week! And you expect it all to be forgiven with a line or two?"

Charlus clenched his fists when his parents were mentioned, but kept a smile on his face.

"I didn't expect to be forgiven, Madame Abadie. I was simply apologizing because I was told to by Madame Maxime."

Madame Abadie was becoming angry. She took out her wand.

"Well, I think some punishment will be there. I will make you still for the entire class."

She pointed the wand towards Charlus. Charlus chose to take a seat at this moment. The spell released from the wand and the seat that Chalrus was sitting on exploded into smoke. Charlus fell right into the ground. To make things worse, his seat was in an elevation, and all the elevation below his set had disappeared, so he fell all the way.

Sirius rushed to Charlus and levitated him out. The entire class had gasped and were looking at Charlus to see if he was okay. Sirius brought Charlus out and took him out of the class. Madame Abadie was stunned. She was not sure what happened, but her wand was still pointed towards Charlus' place in the class.

She became flustered. The only explanation for what happened to Charlus was that she had done it, and that did not bode well for her. She hurried out of the class.

"Class is dismissed. Go out and play."

Meanwhile, Sirius was taking Charlus to the infirmary.

"You are a genius Charlus. You did that to yourself and you are blaming your professor. That is plain evil. I didn't even think you would have it in you. So what are you going to do now?"

Charlus groaned.

"Go to the infirmary. I just fell 3 meters. I think I broke my leg. I heard a cracking sound. It doesn't pain a lot. But still, no harm in going to the infirmary."

Sirius took Charlus to the infirmary. The medi-witch had Charlus on one of the beds. She diagnosed him and then asked Sirius.

"Did the boy get his leg fractured recently - maybe 1 month back? The leg is very close to healing."

Sirius understood that CHarlus' Phoenix blood was acting and healing him, so he lied to the medi-witch.

"Yes. He was injured before he came back to the Academy. We didn't use many potions, so it didn't heal quickly."

Sirius took Charlus outside the infirmary. Charlus was still confused.

"Why did you lie? I didn't have my leg fractured a month ago."

Sirius stayed silent for a while and then said, "I healed you with a method of the Blacks. It's a family secret, soo no one can know about it. Okay?"

Chalrus nodded. He didn't inquire any further.

"Well. My job is done anyway. I'm going to go back and work on that prank idea you said yesterday."

Sirus took Chalrus to his dorm and then left. Chalrus went inside to his room when he was stopped by someone.
