Capítulo 79: Chapter 78 - Daughter of...

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

The next day, the entire wizarding world became aware of the battle that had taken place in the middle of England, even resonating with other international communities outside the country, leaving many quite surprised by the high-level battle. The events in the newspaper had quickly circulated at Hogwarts as well, and everyone was shocked by such a significant event occurring just a few weeks after what had happened in Hogsmeade.

"Did you see what happened? The dark wizards fought against each other and devastated an entire neighborhood next to Diagon Alley," commented a student at the Hufflepuff table with a cautious expression.

"Was it You-Know-Who who did this?" another student asked, worried.

"Nobody knows..." a girl murmured.

"They say the one casting red lightning is a woman well-known among the dark wizards, but the other, no one knows, that's what my uncle said, he works at the ministry. My father sent me a letter this morning about it before the Daily Prophet..." A fourth student spoke.

"Really? And how did they do that? Didn't the Aurors show up?" the girl asked, looking at the newspaper photo.

"They did, but my uncle said they didn't even care about the Aurors... Both continued fighting, surrounded by ministry men. They basically played with them and didn't care, treated them like the wind," the student said, surprising the others.

"But who are they? How can they be so strong?" another Hufflepuff student asked.

"We don't know, they just appeared. But my uncle told my father that the ministry is actually after the one who fought with that woman. The spells they cast devastated the place, but definitely that wizard was casting Unforgivables, wasn't just anyone..." the boy who received the letter exclaimed.

The conversation continued, meanwhile, at the Slytherin table, the conversation continued with more excitement. "Hey, did you know who the woman was who fought against that wizard? Very famous in pure-blood circles, they say she is..." a sixth-year student said while some of the students didn't know, but he was soon interrupted with someone banging on the table, interrupting him just as he was about to reveal,

"Stop immediately! Her name is forbidden, you know that, you idiot! If they catch you saying that name... you and your family could be totally destroyed. You know her father can be as dangerous as the Dark Lord, like him, she has a curse on her name that can be detected if you speak it..." Lucius Malfoy was the one who shouted against that fool, who had to lower his head with that.

"That's true," even Narcissa joined in the conversation. "There are many stories about her father and those are stories no one should get involved in. That creature is a millennial being who lived even in the time of Merlin. So, be careful with what you say," she said, as some shrank back with that and those who wanted to know... gave up the next moment.

"But what about this wizard, who is he? My father said no one knows and they're putting Death Eaters all over England after him." Another fifth-year student spoke.

"My father is leading a group of Death Eaters after him..." Malfoy spoke and continued. "And everyone already suspects that it's that mysterious dark wizard."

As the gossip continued, Snape was sitting nearby, eating and not caring about anything, planning his day and the next months until the end of the year. There were a few months until he finished his fifth year after taking the final exams, so he needed to see how he would make use of this time, since he didn't seem to need to dedicate much to school matters.

Lucinda appeared at this moment and sat next to Snape with a big smile. "Hello Severus! Have you seen the newspaper?" She asked excitedly finding a topic to discuss with Severus.

"Not yet, but I believe I don't even need to, after all, everyone is only talking about it here..." Snape replied calmly, while eating fiercely to regain his energy after the morning training in the Room of Requirement.

"Look at this, mysterious wizards got involved in a fierce fight and even put a place in England in total destruction... but my father told me this happened in a secret spot next to Diagon Alley where dark wizards were making clandestine deals... there were a few according to what my father told me..." She said and showed the photo of the black market being destroyed as red and green lightning struck against each other, destroying all the places in a kind of continuous Gif on the newspaper sheet.

"Do you know who this woman is?" Snape looked at the image for a while and asked, curious to know who this woman was... since he couldn't hear it from the students at the table and he wouldn't ask them.

"Do you want to know the name of this woman?" a new voice emerged, as Andromeda approached.

Andromeda was bold that day, after all, when she found out that Snape really hadn't slept with Bellatrix, after questioning her sister severely, she sat next to Snape with a smile while Narcissa looked at her sister nearby.

"Do you know?" Snape asked curiously as Andromeda nodded.

"If you go out with me on Saturday, I can tell you, after all no one else is going to talk," she said while Lucinda already disliked Andromeda's approach, now killing her with her eyes after she made that proposal.

Snape even glanced at Clarisse as Narcissa looked at him at this moment while, although they couldn't hear the conversation, clearly seeing the young Black flirting blatantly with Snape. Even he felt a look coming from Gryffindor and even Ravenclaw in his direction. 'As they say... the more women you have, the more they attract you...' Snape murmured internally and sighed to Andromeda.

"Whatever, tell me, who is this woman?" Snape might waste his time with some silly teenage stuff to find out who this woman was. It was a pity he hadn't managed to defeat her, after all, he didn't earn any points for the fight, and he was sure he could have leveled up several times if he had beaten her.

"That's great, I can't wait for this day! But let me tell you, everyone fears her because she is the daughter... of none other than Count Dracula with a human witch..." Andromeda whispered so softly that only Snape heard.

"But listen Severus... don't try in any way to get involved against this woman and her father... they are so powerful that even You-Know-Who has to maintain some respect, since they say they are as powerful as Director Dumbledore." She continued to warn him to be careful and Snape just nodded.

He was more interested now, recalling the Muggle stories about Dracula, a myth of an ancient vampire, the most powerful among all vampires, and thinking that he actually existed in the magical world.

Snape chatted a bit more with the girls and decided to leave there, disappearing simply while everyone who was watching was surprised, from the girls to even the teachers' table while some kept their eyes on him.

The next moment, Snape materialized in the Room of Requirement, but was surprised the next moment while finding three beings dancing in a strange way. In front of him were Dobby, his father, and Pandora, who had left the common room a little before Snape and come here, while the three were doing a choreography in the middle of the room.

He watched that, with quite strange movements from the three making him feel second-hand embarrassment. Pandora noticed him doing some steps, and flashed a smile at him as if she were doing something fantastic. "Snape! Come dance with us, it's fun!" She exclaimed, and he just shook his head.

"Sorry, I'm not interested," he spoke directly, looking at that strange dance and preferring to be eating that food that the house elves threaten with their feet than participating in something like this.

As soon as they stopped dancing, Dobby approached timidly. "I'm so happy you're here... Master Snape..." He said, since as he heard Snape's instructions to find the castle, he finally reunited with his father in the kitchen waiting for his new master and was so happy he found him and was serving a master who wouldn't punish him quickly as he thought.

"Master Snape, I will be faithful to all your commands swiftly with all my heart, even in the face of the punishments that Master may give me!" he said.

Snape looked at him for a moment before responding to this odd statement. "You know very well why I hired you. I need a house elf, one that will help me handle Atlas and Shadow, after all, they need to be fed every day and someone to deliver messages when needed. Do you understand?" Snape said as Dobby quickly nodded alongside his father, and Snape continued.

"For now, we do not have a residence, so we will stay here for a while..." Snape said after all, he now needed to raise some money, spending a bit of his reserves at the auction, but he would have money in the coming months to get a house as he returned to selling his potions again in the black market if he did not spend so much on new ingredients that he had accumulated all year, as he did.

He refused to return to his parents' house, since he did not like the man and speaking of him, today he would have to begin his investigation into the death of his mother.

So, he spent the rest of the day brewing potions while Pandora trained in the Room of Requirement with him teaching her a few things. He knew it wouldn't be long before this related the wizard who fought against the young lady with the mysterious potion master.

Then he would have to remain inactive for a while, Snape had some luck fighting in a different way, as he used only Unforgivables and his teleportation that no one seemed to associate with the wizard who killed those in Hogsmeade.

He had decided he had planned three types of combat: The combat of extermination of dark wizards, daring transfiguration spells with his shadow teleport, eliminating wizards in a brutal way as they were sliced by his blades.

The second style of combat was his set with Unforgivable spells, fighting by teleporting as well, but using only death spells, as he did in the black market. His teleportation was a bit different while there weren't so many shadows for him not to be identified as the wizard from Hogsmeade. This would be his identity as the mysterious alchemist, which would soon be in the newspaper.

The third style of combat would be as a Hogwarts student, but he didn't have many spells for that, but they were beginning to develop his storm spells to create commands as dangerous as the death spells, but that wouldn't be forbidden by the ministry, like casting blue lightning and creating a storm.

By the end of this day, he would train the creation of these new spells and stock up a good amount of potions to return to the black market in a while, when things were better, he had no doubt that the black market would already be well, since the repair spell would transform the whole neighborhood back to what it was before the fight, the only thing that didn't change was the death of those 4 wizards he turned into skeletons.

At night, Snape ended up taking Shadow while placing a letter for a service a bit more expensive than he used to do, which were those of hiring someone to pick up Muggle books from the central library in London.

This particular service was a magical investigation; he would hire a detective with a few thousand Galleons. And his request was to review the entire Prince family to find out exactly what happened to his mother. He would finally start his investigation now and by the end of this fifth year at Hogwarts, he would discover the whole truth.

Raccoon Here:

Dracula's daughter will not know who Snape is, so their interaction will only return when Snape reaches level 45, as he will need to go to Romania... invade a certain castle in Transylvania and go to a certain painting to unlock the true power of the monarch of shadows.
