Terim had fallen asleep almost instantly after hitting the bed. The day's activities had worn him out more than he realized. The soft mattress and the soothing head strokes coaxed him into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Meanwhile, Ren, feeling a surge of energy and excitement, decided to put his cooking skills to the test with the ingredients they had bought. He wanted to cook the dishes to replenish Terim's health.

It slipped his mind that, unlike him, Terim had barely started moving on his own. He shouldn't have dragged him around for hours. Even though the doctors had suggested Terim move more so that his bones wouldn't become stiff, Ren felt a sense of guilt rising in his heart at the sight of the tired sleeping figure on his bed.
