Capítulo 143: Good Morning

The last thing Luca did before going to bed was clean up Sophia through her half-asleep uttering that she could take care of herself. Yet, when he had toweled her off completely, she was already softly snoring. 

The first day back at her bakery and her heat coinciding had certainly exhausted her. He was going to have to be mindful of her eating and resting the next day.

He wondered if he had pushed her too hard on the first day she was able to be around his pheromones at full force again. Guilt ate away at his insides. Typical for an alpha, he was being selfish that she relied on him during her heats. 

He was too enthusiastic considering how he felt about her. It made him doubly overbearing. 

He tucked her into bed and cleaned himself up before joining her and pulling the covers over them both. 

A few hours later, Luca woke up with the sunrise as soft golden light peeked into the room they shared.
