Capítulo 462: The runaway eldest miss

Situ Zhilan paused in her strides, her expression remained the same but there was a twitch in her left eye as she stared at the man. Her eyes fell on his less than mediocre clothes and face which weren't even as good as the butler in her mansion and felt annoyance swept through her heart. With this alone, he dared to invite her to a drink? He had to be kidding her! 

With a quick look through her memories, she remembered that this man was the son of the newly appointed magistrate of the Bybeech town, she had met this man when she was attending a small banquet but Situ Zhilan only went to that place for the sake of making herself look better and good when compared to her brothers who did not pay attention to the poor and those who did not come from a decent background. 

But that did not mean that she was willing to lower her status by sharing a drink and table with this man later on at the time of the dance performance!
