"Two bottles of blood… eight Galleons… right?" Noticing Ivan's gaze, Walker said the words out loud, embarrassed.
Ivan wanted to say that the five bottles of wolf's blood were enough.
However, seeing Walker in such a state, Yvonne was worried that he would be furious if she told him…
When Ivan hesitated, Walker grew anxious. "There's definitely more blood in these two jars than you've ever had in a beaker! If you don't think it's enough, I can always add more!"
Ivan shook his head. He could see, of course, that the two jars thrown at him were larger than the beakers he had used before.
There must have been more than twelve hundred milliliters of werewolf blood in there, and Ivan threw eight Galleons at it.
Walker took them all, his pale face lighting up.
"You're still standing. Impressive!" Ivan looked at the young werewolf wizard in admiration. A normal person would have fainted after losing so much blood at once.
"Of course, I'm a werewolf. If you need me, you can come back tomorrow," Walker insisted, feeling weak.
"No, I don't need werewolf blood any more in the short term." Ivan quickly refused, afraid that the child would draw blood and kill him.
Walker was disappointed, but quickly thought of something else, and after a moment's hesitation, spoke.
"Aren't you going to work on a potion that will bring a werewolf to their senses?"
Yvonne nodded, not quite sure what he meant.
"I can transform into a werewolf on a non-full moon night… so I can help you experiment with potions…" Walker hesitated, his words still awkward, but he tried to emphasize his point.
"Of course, it's not free!"
"Ten… five… no, just three Galleons a pop!" Walker wanted to say that ten Galleons a pop was fine, but he was worried about being rejected, so he kept trying.
"I thought you didn't believe in my potions and were worried there might be a problem," Ivan said, amused.
"No, I don't!" Walker said, nodding at Ivan's surprised look.
"It's better for me to drink it than them! I can transform into a werewolf at any time to recover from my injuries. As long as I don't die on the spot, I can recover quickly."
Walker knew full well the consequences of drinking the second half of the potion, and the risk of death.
However, having seen the werewolf wizards sell their blood for Galleons, Walker was well aware that Ivan was willing to risk his life if he could afford it.
Ivan shook his head in exasperation at Walker's fearlessness. He didn't need anyone to experiment with the potion; he had the recipe for the Wolf's Bane.
Thinking he would need a successful example to gain his trust, Ivan nodded and agreed.
"Then we have a deal!" At Ivan's nod of agreement, Walker leapt over the raised stonework of the street wall and disappeared.
Yvonne marveled at the werewolf's exceptional physical prowess as she spoke to Doggett.
"Headmaster Dougett, in the last two months… no, have those werewolves done anything bad since they arrived?"
"I'm not sure, but I haven't heard any rumours. I think he's behaving himself," said Doggett after a moment.
"Let's go back." Yvonne nodded, not wanting to pry.
The latter had no objections, but simply looked Ivan up and down in amazement.
Doggett witnessed Ivan's actions today, and how he persuaded the wary, hostile werewolf wizards to donate their blood.
First, he showed his overwhelming strength in the first battle, established his power, and took the initiative.
Using the weakness of the werewolf wizards' lack of money, and gradually using Galleons to break down their mental defences,
After drawing their blood, he defused their resentment with heartfelt words of concern,
The Wolf Venom Potion that was developed next had even more leverage over the werewolves…
So much so that Doggett could not understand what the boy was trying to do.
Could it be…
Dagget gasped as he found himself seeing something of the man in Ivan…
Although in Doggett's opinion Ivan's methods were somewhat amateurish, considering that Ivan was only eleven or twelve years old, he was even more intelligent, cunning, and ambitious than his peers!
After all, it was impossible for that person to intimidate a group of werewolves at his age…
"I can't believe you're so ambitious…" Doggett exclaimed, thinking that Yvonne must have known about the incident.
He should have known he couldn't keep it a secret forever…
Ivan, who was thinking about how much wolf venom he should sell for, turned his head and looked at Dougett in confusion, not quite understanding what he was saying…
[Ding, mission generated…]
At this moment, the system prompt suddenly sounded in Ivan's mind.
Baffled, Ivan opened the taskbar and checked it.
[Mission: Become the King of Knockturn Alley
Objective: Subdue the werewolf wizards of Knockturn Alley (first link)
Duration: two years
Task Reward: Wolf Poison Potion Recipe (Strong)
Task description: You are disappointed by the Ministry of Magic's corruption, and saddened by the corruption of the wizarding world,
However, before you can achieve a larger goal, you decide to set a small goal for yourself, such as — Unify Knockturn Alley!
Remarks: Your ambition is clear and there is no need to hide it!]
Ivan looked at the new mission in the system column and stopped in his tracks.
What? I have such ambition? Why didn't I know?
Ivan looked strangely at Doggett behind him and opened his mouth, wanting to ask what he was imagining.
As a result, he, a young wizard in his first year, became arrogant enough to make Unified Knockturn Alley a small goal…
However, before Ivan could say anything, Doggett stepped forward and tried to comfort him.
"It's not necessarily a bad thing to have a big goal, but you have to do things step-by-step. You're twelve years old, too young, not intimidating enough, and those werewolves won't want to follow you."
"You're thinking too much, Dean Dougett." Ivan was speechless, and almost couldn't resist throwing a thunderbolt in his face to send him flying!
Fortunately, there was no penalty for failure, or Ivan would have been killed by this bastard…
