Historia and Zion approached to hear what they were saying. However, Admarine could detect people with magical abilities, so the two decided that Historia should move closer to hear them.
"I need that book! I know you're hiding it here in the Empire's library, but aren't the books here open to the public?!?" The Duchess yells at Madam Rinlax, but the woman simply stares at her.
"Duchess Quinn, not all books here are open to the public and the book that you are talking about is not here. If you badly want to go in the Private Section, you must need the permission of any of the royalties," Madame Rinlax says quietly.
"The Crown Princess, Vivian! She is my daughter's friend; isn't that enough?" Duchess Quinn yells, clutching her red fan with a detailed and unique design. That complements the color of her puffy red dress with a unique design from the other empire. Sewn by a well-known Wayona Empire seamstress.
"You need a letter, Duchess Quinn. Aside from that, the crown princess hasn't been crowned as the empress, so it is still invalid unless you can get a letter from the emperor and the crown prince," Madam Rinlax says calmly, prompting Duchess Quinn to bite her lower lip and look at the madam with enraged eyes.
The Duchess clenched her fist and started walking away. "Admarine! Let's go!" Duchess Quinn shouted, prompting Admarine to quickly follow her.
Madam Rinlax continues to look behind Duchess Quinn until they are no longer visible. The woman quickly looks where Historia is hiding, which alerts her, and she quickly hides again.
"It is not polite to listen to other people's discussions, My Lady," Madam Rinlax says, startling Historia, who quickly heads outside where she was hiding and bows her head.
"I'm sorry, Madam!" Historia says, bowing her head. The woman simply sighed and walked away from her. Historia looked at her back and sighed, thinking she'd be punished by her.
Zion walks slowly up beside her and speaks. "She wanted to go to the private section? The Holy shelves. That's where the important books were hidden." Historia was taken aback when the man spoke abruptly.
"How did you hear that?" she wonders.
"I move closer, of course," he said, looking at her. Historia was thinking about how the madam didn't notice him when he moved closer to hear their conversation. "I used the card when I noticed that I also brought it here. The card that can make your presence invisible to them," he added. Historia only slowly nods her head.
"What do you think my stepmother wanted to do in the Holy Shelves?" Historia asks. She thinks Duchess Quinn is extremely naive. She believes she can get permission by befriending the crown princess, who has not yet been crowned. Historia keeps thinking of something: when did the two become friends? When Lady Vivian visits her, it does not appear that the two have known each other for very long.
"What you ask is that why did she even bring Admarine here? What is Admarine's purpose here?" Zion asks, prompting Historia to look at him.
"She probably just wants to follow her momma, you know my sister is such a momma's girl," Historia joked, causing Zion to laugh and Historia to smile. Suddenly, her stomach makes a noise, indicating that she is hungry.
"Well, I guess you need to eat now, My Lady. I will bring you home now; we've been here for hours already," Zion said, and Historia simply nodded her head while holding her tummy.
They used the card that teleported them straight to the lady's room. They saw Sally walking back and forth, looking worried, and when she realized the lady was already in her room, she dashed towards her. "My Lady! The Duke wishes to see you! It's been twenty minutes since he asked for your presence! You need to get dressed quickly!" Sally said.
.
Historia had already gotten dressed, and Zion had left. She was wearing a white floral off-the-shoulder long-sleeve dress and white rose accessories that enhanced her beauty. Sally also styles her hair into a waterfall braid.
She was now walking to go to her Father's office and knocked on the door. When she was permitted to do so, she headed inside and Sally was just waiting outside. "Father, you called for me?" she asks.
Duke Darcus dashed to her daughter, surprised her, and hugged her. "I heard about what happened to you yesterday; are you okay?" the Duke asks. Historia blinked once, unable to believe what was happening. Her Father was concerned about her! She expected to be chastised for what had happened the day before.
"I - I am fine, Father," she said, making the Duke sigh. He was simply staring at her daughter, smiling bitterly. Every time he looked at Historia, the late duchess's face came to mind. Historia's face resembles her mother's face. It was like the two are like split stones.
"Anyway, the case has been solved. Your brother and with the help of Duke Ascavel, were able to arrest the culprit. It was one of the Empire's wizards who used black magic secretly which made him able to stop time. He was trying to kill the crown princess, however, you are the one who was hit by the magic accidentally, and that is why you are the only one who can move," the Duke goes on to say. "However," he added, prompting Historia to listen.
Duke Darcus looks at her daughter, who is waiting for his statement. "Never mind, take a break for now." He smiled. Historia pouts slightly, wanting to know what her father is thinking. She wonders if her father had a similar thought.
While Duke Darcus continues to stare at her daughter, she believes that Historia is still a crybaby who knows nothing, just as the real Historia does. He additionally thought about Duke Ascavel and his daughter's relationship; he was surprised that the two knew each other without being aware of it.
Historia politely replied, "Yes, Father," and walked out of his father's office, followed by Sally.
"A wizard? I don't believe it; I know there's more to it," Historia says, as one of Duchess Quinn's maids appears in front of her.
"My Lady, the Duchess wishes for your presence," the maid said, lowering her head.
'Now what does that wench want from me?' She thought to herself.
