King Vilas and Prince Dominic stood inside the court which was decorated in the style of the proper church. Moreover, King Almen was seated on the other side while Prince Cyrus was standing in the middle of the entire place.
Today, he wore a blue-colored coat-pant with a scarf wrapped around his coat. His hands were at the front but his eyes were roaming all around to see everyone still in the process.
Waiting for his bride, his eyes were longing to see the lady once before his wedding rituals started and he took the final vow. Why? He had nothing to describe anymore.
At the same time, Prince Dominic finally looked at Mary to signal her to bring Flora as soon as possible to begin the wedding.
As per their instruction, Mary nodded her head when she went off from the place and within a few moments later, the light song started to play. Everyone's attention went nowhere else but at the large gate of the court.
The people inside were all seated at their respective places and the others stood where they were supposed to. King Almen and King Vilas were sitting in different places but in the first row. And, Prince Alex was made the best man for his brother as well.
Soon, the grand entrance which was expected happened.
Mrs. Ira smiled at everyone when they first of all were seen at the large gate. She held the lady in her arms, with a bright smile that lingered on her lips. On top of that, the lady's veil was reaching down to her chin which was kind of new to witness. It was thicker than that of the real veils but no one commented.
Mrs. Ira softly and slowly brought the lady ahead, walking down the aisle as she held her hand. The lady held the flowers in her hand with her head looking down on the ground. She never raised her head to meet anyone, but everyone had already seen her curves.
The wedding dress was stunning, which was embroidered with golden beads. The small flower crown on the head was enhancing the beauty of the veil but it was the dismay of everyone to not see the lady's face on her wedding day.
Nevertheless, Mrs. Ira walked aside until she reached the end. Giving her hand to Cyrus's, she smiled at the Prince before saying, "Take care of her. From today, she will be yours to keep."
"I will. Don't worry Second lady." Cyrus had a small nod before he helped the lady climb up the few stairs and stand in front of his eyes.
Their hands were still very much in contact where he never tore his gaze from that of her veil. Moreover, his eyes saw how thick it was knitted, making him wonder who wears such a face-covering veil on their wedding day?
It raised many questions but he kept mum.
Yet this wasn't the end of the doubt session. His eyes traced to see the hand he was holding. She wasn't wearing the ring which he made the lady wear on the day. Rather, her fingers had no fingers at all, even though they were soft as compared to the last time he held them.
A frown curved on his forehead when he felt some things not fine falling into the line. 'Is this my illusion? or the reality?' he can't differentiate if the lady behind the veil was the same but the hints were very vibrant.
But then, he moved his head once to see his father's smiling face. The smile was simply the sky glint but he knew what the old King was thinking.
Afterward, his other brother also stepped a bit closer to his body before he whispered into his ears, "What happened? Are you thinking of quitting this wedding?"
"Shut up, Alex. No one asked for your opinion right now." Cyprus distantly asked but it had no impact on Alex either, "What brother? If you are, tell me. I can marry her as well."
"But I would prefer the other lady, the other Princess of the Kingdom. She was more beautiful and stunning as compared to this free blood bank for you."
Hearing this, Cyrus's gaze went to see his brother with the deadly glare that passed by. He was frustrated by his wordings but there was nothing to even deny. "Keep your words in the limit, Alex."
"Don't get angry on your wedding day, after all, your bride is standing in front of you." Reminding him about his bride, Alex finally stepped a few steps back to stand in the lane like others.
Even Cyrus had to take a deep breath to calm down his urge to not kick Alex's balls. This was the truth that this lady was the free blood bank for him but he had no wish to ever even suck her. His vampire state doesn't even feel anything for this lady.
Unlike the one warrior princess, who acts so violently yet from inside, she is as soft as a nutshell. His lips curved slightly upwards on her thoughts but his eyes rounded everywhere to not find her presence even once.
'Is she not showing up as well?' That was slightly surprising since she is one of the Princesses. Shouldn't she enhance this occasion by her presence here?
But soon afterward, his attention was shifted and he heard the priest finally doing all the rituals. They were first of all mad to drink the water of the holy shrine and afterward, the priest recited something. They all listened attentively and finally, it was time to tie the knot.
"Princess Cyrus, son of King Almen, accept the Princess of Suzania Kingdom as your wedded wife?" It was the rule to not utter the name of her lady and Cyrus felt a tinge of unhappiness resign.
Taking a deep breath, his gaze swept across the veil-wearing lady before he muttered, "I..I..do.."
