Capítulo 18: GOLD DIGGER

It was evening when they reached their destination. The calm sea opened on the two of them at that pier. Adan quietly stopped his car on the side and glanced at Leona for a moment. It was still staring at him sharply.

"Walk ten minutes that way and you'll hit a bus terminal. If you don't like buses, there will be a bunch of cabs." He told Leona tiredly and he turned his eyes to her.

"Goodbye. When we meet again, I'm going to seduce you, so put your guard up," he finally told the woman and finally got out of the car.

Adan walked straight to the place a small eatery on the side there. In the distance, he saw Annalise's mother who was currently cleaning the table after her last customer ate. Later, Adan stopped walking for a moment when he saw Annalise's stepfather suddenly kicking the table there. Traces of fear and panic on his sister's mother.

"Where is your daughter?!" It shouted at the woman who seemed furious.
