Capítulo 269: The Past (2)

"Mama!!" Elena screamed at the top of her voice when she was forcefully torn away from her sister. 

Maya's body stiffened on the man's legs. She fixed her unblinking gaze on her mother before moving it to her father. 

"Is this some sort of joke?" Mr. Paul spoke up taking steps forward but Alfred's men held him from moving forward with a gun pointed at his head. 

"Do not tempt me, Paul." Alfred warned, "I've been waiting for this moment and I want you to let me enjoy it."

Logan paused in his memorial. Talking became hard and he hastinly drew in deep breaths to calm down. 

Valeria took in a deep breath and rubbed her throbbing head with her palm. She understood why Logan paused. 

It wasn't her story but she felt the pain from it so, how much more he who experienced it and lived to share? 

Logan casually stood up from the couch and walked towards one of the shelves in the room.
