I'm getting ready for college in a grumpy mood. And what is the reason? The reason is that my dear best friend decided that today she wouldn't be blessing the college with her presence. I would love to stay home too, but unfortunately, today I have to submit my assignments.

So, I will be all alone. Ughh, can I just not go? With a big sigh, I went downstairs and sat at the dining table. Dad and Adrian eyed me and then looked at each other. They looked back at me, and Adrian asked,

"Are you okay, princess?"

Before I could answer, my mom did,

"Leave her. Jenny won't be going to college today; that's why she is being like that."

I pouted, but wait. How did she know? And, as if she read my mind, she said,

"She called me because you were not picking up your phone at first, then when we were talking, you called her."
