"Hold still!" Solomon demanded, pulling Kelly's hair even harder. 

Kelly snarled up at his brother, but Solomon was quick to respond. 

"If you want to look ridiculous for your mating ceremony, don't think I will stop you."

Landon's chuckle reached their ears, and they both paused to look at him in surprise.

  Normally Landon would be scolding them for acting like children.

  Perhaps now that the weight of being Alpha that he had carried around for nearly thirty years had finally been lifted, the man was finally able to take a breath.

  He was sitting around with Casper and Gaius, drinking whiskey, and chatting while the younger men got Kelly ready. 

Kelly had very rarely see him sit down with a such a carefree, happy look on his scarred face. 

Kelly still couldn't nag the feeling that he needed to tell his father something, something from when he had been... dead.
