Billie Bob Taylor
The tension in the dining room was thicker than my steak which was glorious by the way because Benedito had made sure to import my favorite steak from a butchery that supplied a restaurant we had eaten at in Italy for one of his business trips.
These days I was getting spoilt a lot and whatever I wanted was flown in. Even though I wanted to enjoy the sweet sustenance of my steak, the atmosphere of the dining room was both amusing yet incredibly suffocating as Evelyn and Ronaldo glared at each other from across the table.
Benedito sat at the head of the table with me to his right, Ma sat next to me followed by Clyde, Evelyn and Abigail. To Benedito's left was Pedro, Ronaldo and José. There were lots of nervous smiles and chuckles.
"Billie, do you mind pouring me the champagne?" Ma sweetly asked.
