"You guys are nice snakes. Thank you for helping me." Zack bowed down in front of the trees as many dead-looking snakes were hanging from the branches.
After all, they had been pulled down by a human who was at least twice their weight.
Due to the snakes, Zack had been able to put some distance between himself and the lion as he wondered what his next move was going to be.
'Maybe I should swing the snakes as a rope and throw them at the lion.' Now that the snakes had temporarily been dealt with, he could easily look at the berries. 'Aha! At least I know one of them.'
Shining at the top of the tree was blackberry that Zack managed to remember from the book he had read.
He then jumped towards the tree and obtained the berry. As soon as he got the berry in his hand, Zack knew that he no longer had to fear the lion.
